Thanks for another great event!!! The staff was super friendly and they were very informed about everything they offered on the menu. I had a chance to speak to the owner, she was super friendly and truly cares about her customers and staff. Of course my fav items were the teriyaki chicken, rice, noodles, and ALL the sauces! Once I finished eating the main tasting items, more and more food started coming out. I think we had the chance to try all the items on the menu!!! Lol. This would be a great place to stop by for lunch or dinner. They also cater for those office parties and events.

Fun times with the Unilocal peeps! The food was hit or miss but it probably depends on what you like to eat. Katsu? On point. Wish they had pork… But oh well. No pork on the menu at all. Noodles? Ok. Teriyaki? Yum. Egg rolls? Um… Starchy? Pot stickers? Yes! Crab ragoon? No thanks. Spicy tofu? Not bad. Drinks? Standard. Service? Good! Very friendly! The company??? Awesome!!! They give you little boxes to put your food in. Creative way of displaying the food. Everything got a little mixed up though… Where’s my katsu??? Oh at the very bottom! Then there were servers walking around with other tastings. Lots of little sauces too. Very fun event! And Unilocal chop sticks… How fun! The venue also had fork chopsticks… Very interesting…

When I first walked up to this place it struck me as a typical Asian restaurant in a strip mall. That was mainly because it *is* and Asian restaurant in a strip mall. Once inside, things took a turn for the better. There were plenty of clean tables and to make it more interesting, there were lots of different kinds of seating options… High tops, a side bar, four-tops, two-tops. You name it, this cozy restaurant has a place for every kind of bottom. Saving the best for the last, the food was almost without exception… exceptional. Everything was tasty. It’s worth noting that even the Spicy whatever wasn’t so spicy that people who dislike spicy food wouldn’t enjoy it. If that last sentence didn’t make any sense to you, you’re in good company. Suffice it to say, All the food was good and most of it was delicious. Perhaps the low point were the egg rolls and even they(them… those?) were better than what I’ve had at many Asian restaurants in a strip mall. I’ll wrap up by saying that I was at the same table as Mary Kate and Tiffany. Take it from me, you can beleive what either of them say. Oh yea, one more final point, the desert options. They are outstanding! There’s a Duck Doughnuts right next door. ‘Nuff said. Finally(this is getting worse than LoTR 3) I will be back at some point to see how this place is or a normal person.

Read Tiffany J’s review… except ignore the part where she says you can’t trust me. You CAN trust me… well, maybe. I had a good time hanging with everyone and trying some fast casual Americanized Chinese cuisine. I thought the food was decent and the people who held the event were very attentive to our needs. We had a good time being served buffet style, but only having one little box to mix all the contents in. Personally this was something I didn’t mind because it’s going to go down all the same way anyway. The downside for some is that they might not have gotten to taste the true flavor of the dish due the clash of flavors. Otherwise no complaints here. We got to sample other things outside of the actual buffet as they brought around samples of different things. When the gentleman was serving us our crab ragoon he said, ‘This is real crab!’ After a bite, one who shall not be mentioned said, ‘This isn’t real crab!’ Later when speaking to who I believe was the owner/manager said it was imitation crab. She also said the gentleman who had served us was only 80% trained jokingly which we all took to stride. Thanks future Mrs. Fox for having us.

Awesome! Delicious food, great staffs, fun Unilocalers,…etc!!! I enjoy so many things tonight. It’s smaller but I got to talk with many people here a lot. My favorites are Katsu and chicken with orange sweet sauce. Yakisoba needs more flavor but the beef is marinated well. I wish they had sweets here too. I’m dying for desserts now. I might go to Duck donuts next door. At the same time, I needed unsweetened tea to rinse off the sweetness of tons of Teriyaki. But the have only sweet drinks and water. That’s why I’m giving 4 stars now;p Anyway, thank you so much for the fantastic Unilocal night!!!

Haiii-yah! Definitely a madness of teriyaki flavor everywhere! First off, Great job to Gretchen for coordinating a great community event! What’s not to love about a free tasting of good Asian food. I loved how friendly the staff was about serving us their cuisine. They were very knowledgeable about what tasted good and what each person’s palette is with by asking the right questions. Sometimes little samples are the little things that make you happy. A few of my favorite samples: +Katsu Chicken — OMG, I could’ve taken the entire platter full of these bad boys. Seasoned well and the sauce. Dont get me started. This is a must try! +Sweet Tofu — lightly fried and slathered with the yummy sauce. I would definitely try the spicy version next time as the owner recommended it. +Crab Rangoon — Shaped like a mini dumpling instead of the typical rangoon shape, however it still packed the flavors you’d expect from the typical rangoon. +Chicken dumpling — another fried dumpling = always delicious. I was hoping for some steamed, but that could be a custom order suggestion. +Beef Yakisoba — Sauteed beef and noodles. What is a better combination? maybe sushi? maybe. Ambience of the restaurant was very casual, almost like a fast food vibe. However quality is definitely much better! I loved the free swag that was given out. They have a zombie baby child utensil called the chork which is what you get if a fork and chop sticks eloped. I don’t know how to feel about it, but hey, it did it’s job when I was hungry. Definitely recommend this place as the staff was super friendly, food was great, and a sit down vibe that can accommodate anyone. This was definitely MAJOR Teriya-KEY — DJ Khaled
