I can’t express how happy it made me to go to a legitimate barber shop in this area — Mr. B.B. Staats did a fantastic job, which even included some straight razor shaving. The price was extremely reasonable, especially when compared to salons, the quality was great, he was friendly without being obnoxious about it and he cuts both quickly and well. Absolutely look forward to my next trip there!

Haymarket, VA
I visited the Crystal Barber Shop earlier in the week to get a haircut. I’ve been going to Headquarters for the last 20 years, but a fire in the retail complex last week at Fairfax Circle damaged a number of the stores there, including Headquarters, so their shop is out of commission for the time being.
Fortunately, friends of theirs in the hair business are letting them work out of their respective shops. So I scheduled a haircut with Valerie, one of the three Headquarters ladies who cuts my hair.
Hopefully they will be back in their own shop in a few short months — but here is to the warmth and kindness of the Crystal Barber Shop to let them practice their livelihood out of their shop!
