Love taking walks here with my family! Super peaceful and just really pretty there.

It’s a nice trail for bikes, running or casual walk. There is a swing set off the trail with a pavilion. Besides that it is a nice 2 – 3 mile walk

Thanks to Main St traffic I arrived here too late(almost near dusk) to run/explore the entire park. For the 2 miles that I did run I really liked this place. There were solo walkers/runners, dog walkers, and bikers. I really enjoyed it. There are many trails with clearly outlined locations such as what streets the trails will take you to, markers clearly outlining distances and benches at nearly each intersection. I parked on the side of the road near the Estel Rd entrance which only had one spot for parking and the it was taken so I created one. I would suggest to get here in daylight hours because with all of the trees even though the sun sets a few minutes after 8 during this time of year around 7:40 I turned around and started to head back mostly due to safety reasons, visibility and how easy it is to get lost especially on some of the trails that are not paved with gravel often parallel to the graveled trails. I carried a backpack with water, dog bags and other things since I had my dog tag along. Dog stations are at the beginning/end of each trail. I will definitely visit here again. Maybe the website outlines a better place to park. Beautiful, quiet atmosphere. Beware of coyotes though. I didn’t see any but there are signs posted to be on the lookout.

As Tim said, this is really just some woods with trails. No playground, no ball fields, nothing like that. I, for one, LOVE that in a park since I usually want a quiet walk in the trees without a bunch of shouting. Shady, cool, with several offshoot paths. Fabulous!

It’s called a Park and technically(since it’s County owned), I suppose it is one. But, — basically it’s a LOT of woods with a trail running through it. You can hike, jog, run or walk but in the end, — it’s a long walk through the woods… If that’s what you’re after, check it out.
