Hello Peggy, I like your copy and paste from the Facebook review that has been deleted from your page. I would have also copy and pasted my reply if it was still on your Facebook page. Obviously you feel you are in the wrong in some sort of way if you deleted my review(at least I do not see it anymore). I have two main points: 1. You asked if I had a garbage disposal here, and I said«No». Isn’t that enough information to know that it is a new install? Either way, that is not what the review was about. I even said that the work was done properly for a decent price. I was just trying to get what I was quoted. I did not, however like the call after all was done letting me know how I «insulted» your company. I told you numerous times that I did not mean it the way you took it and was not insulting your company, but letting you know how it is perceived from other people. If I was here I would have used a more politically way of saying it, and maybe I should have done so to relay the information to you, but I figured it would get the point across better, GETPEOPLEWHOCOMMUNICATEWITHTHESTAFF!!! The work should have been discussed before continuing if it was going to cost more money. It’s called the bait and switch tactic and is very sketchy. AS you have given me such wonderful advice and told me how to do my job, I will tell you how to do yours. You need employees that can talk to the clients when they come in and say., «Hey, this is not what we were told to do, we need to call the office» or something along those lines. You need to communicate with the clients before sending a bill for a higher price than what was agreed. When the customer calls to let you know how they feel and what was said, do not argue and state that your business is the best in the area and the client is insulting that. Do not reply to clients reviews in a negative way and insult them after you have already made yourself look like a terrible person. Do not delete reviews from Facebook further proving your guilt. Do not ask simple questions, get simple answers, and expect the client to fill int he gaps. Please take all of these into consideration before booking your next client.

I came home yesterday to find a major leak in the main pipe coming into my condo unit. So, I had to shut off all the water coming into my unit until this was fixed. When I called this morning, Hooks Plumbing was available to come in this morning to fix my leak. Shortly after making the appointment, Hooks called back saying that their plumber was in my neighborhood and had some time before the job before mine and that he would like to stop by to first take a quick look to make sure he had all the equipment necessary when coming later to fix the leak. Very impressive. Jesus, the plumber who did the job, was very courteous and professional. He and his assistant were efficient and fully resolved my issue. They also made a good effort to clean up after their work, which was appreciated. I would definitely call on him again. The only issue holding me back from giving five stars for the time being is that I still do not know the full cost for the repair. Although Hooks will tell you their hourly rate for labor in advance, the plumber doing the work does not have a price list for the equipment. Apparently, they turn in their work orders to the office, who then bills customers. It would be nice if they could give a clearer estimate for how much their jobs are in advance.
