Fair Oaks Imaging

As of 2015, Reston Radiology is the only imaging center that is in-​network with Humana in Virginia. Fair Oaks Imaging is one of the branches of Reston Radiology. It’s about 5 – 10 minutes past Fair Oaks Mall. Our GPS led us on a wild goose chase through Old Town Fairfax trying to find this location, so definitely avoid that. Just drive to Fair Oaks Mall and then the location is slightly past that.
Calling in for an appointment, the customer service rep could be friendlier. I spoke with reps at both AAR and Fairfax Radiological Consultants and they were more sympathetic and offered helpful advice when they found I was out of network. The staff at the actual location were really nice though. We got really lost trying to find the location and were really late to the appointment but they still managed to squeeze us in. The radiology technician was sympathetic to the needs of an older clientele and their physical limitations. The waiting room and exam rooms are large, clean, and modern. The tech did her best to work efficiently and the test results were sent out a few days later without us having to do followup.
