The BEST frame shop by far. Awesome selection, really helpful service and great prices too! They have done 3 different projects for me over the past year and each one was perfect. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Did I mention really great service and prices? :)

After my unpleasant experience at the Art & Frame Depot in Gainesville, I decided to go where I should have gone in the first place — FrameMasters. I have a print they framed for me years ago and they did such a fantastic job. My mother has been taking her stuff here for years and she loves the quality, the selection, the service, the expertise, and the people that run the place. My mother recommended I go in and talk with Bob. So I called and found out when Bob would be working. I came in with the eight prints I needed framed(some also needed matboards). Bob is an elderly gentleman, I would guess in his 60s. I told him he came highly recommended, and that I needed some assistance in figuring out what frames and matboards would work well with each print. Bob made things fun and easy. He really has an eye for finding colors and styles that work with each print. He would pull together a range of frames and then let me work through them to find the ones I liked. The same with the matboards. FrameMasters has an incredible selection of frames and matboards to choose from, as well as a number of options for glass. For example, on a number of my prints, I went with a special«museum quality» glass to prevent fading and deterioration of the print. Once I got everything together, Bob gave me a quote. For my eight prints, the total was $ 900 and change. I was pretty pleased with the price, all things considered, including the great, high quality service, the selection, and such. Some of the framing material was out of stock and they had to order it. One of the frames was going to be out of stock for several months — so I went back and selected another frame. This time Richard helped me out. It was quite busy and so I basically selected this frame on my own — which was kind of fun. I found one that matched the dominant color in the picture — a piece of Celtic papercast art I bought from artist Kevin Dyer at the Sugarloaf Craft Festival(previously reviewed on Unilocal). I picked up the final piece of artwork today, Everything is so amazing looking — the quality and craftsmanship in the framing and matting is superb! I highly recommend the folks at FrameMasters! All around excellence and quality!
