Great place to go have a hookah, great service and nice ambiance, I will highly recommend this place, staff is so friendly.

It’s nice place and very quiet also it so brofict shisha I like it .they have many kids of tea play Arabic music and different music finally I will say very good place.

I always come here when I’m in DC. It is a very good place to have a cup of Iraqi tea and a hookah. They play different music, Arabic and English. Not a fancy place but the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this place if you want to smoke good hookah and enjoy your company.

I’ve been here a couple of times now and it’s a decent hookah place. They have multiple TVs playing all sort of shows. It can get a little crowded late at night. The staff has been generally friendly in our visits. However it is a hookah place so there isn’t much interaction. You order your shisa and they bring it out and then you don’t really interact with them unless you need something.
I like how this place out right gives you extra coal in your hookah so that you can change it whenever it’s almost done instead of having to flag someone down to do it for you. It has some rather interesting sofas and chairs with giant throw pillow that you can sit on to enjoy your hookah. Try their turkey coffee. It’s delicious.
Ventilation here is not exactly great, I feel like they can do a better job to ensure that the hookah moves out of the place fast. It’s always semi cloudy when you step into the place. At times they prop the back door open to allow the smoke to go out but obviously during the cold months it’s hard to achieve this.

I used to smoke hookah here, and clearly I wasn’t thinking. Hookah is bad, place is old and looks run down.

Ishtar is my favorite go to place! It’s just spacious enough to hang out with your friends and just live enough to not get bored.
Me and my friends have always had a lot of fun there. The way their hookah is made is probably the best around this area. I really love going to this place because of the atmosphere, the quality of their hookah, and their customer service.
I’ve never had any problems or any complaints with this place!

I used to be a customer in this place for 2 years, it was the best place for smoking hookah compared to other places in town !
After FIFA World Cup 2014, which is I do not care about it honestly, the owner change the whole place ! Which is I’m fine with that too.
The actual problem I have with this place is he had new ppl working there !
The service is bad, and the hookah nowadays is really really bad !
If the owner will hire new better workers go to that place and try things out !
If not, do not waste your money and your time in this place !
