I have been training with Joshua for 7 months now, and I couldn’t be happier. He is well versed in so many musical styles, including musical theater, which I was looking for. He’s incredibly good at constructive feedback, including letting you know when you rocked something and when something needs a lot of work. He never over-​inflates your confidence, but he never dashes it either. I can trust his praise because he’s honest about my weak points, and that’s so important.
He’s encouraging and pleasant to work with, but more than that, he’s SMART. He knows what he’s talking about. He personalizes every student’s lessons, and keeps track of what everyone is working on. It’s so wonderful to learn from the best. I’d recommend him to anyone in the DMV area.

Joshua is awesome to work with and I began seeing results almost immediately. He is not just a great performer but he is an incredibly gifted teacher. He is classically trained but will help you bend the rules to suit whatever style you are going after. Highest recommendation.
