Omaha Steaks

Exorbitant prices! Even with the supposedly «value price», they are still expensive. I hope the other customers check out the competition so they can save their money.

I am torn on how I feel about my recent experience with Omaha Steaks. I needed to place three different orders as Christmas gifts. I was sending the same package to all three recipients. The current online special included free shipping for that particular package. I was placing my order online and wanted to schedule the shipments to go out after the holidays so that each of the families getting these gift could open a printout of sorts on Christmas morning.
I started the process online and came to a road block when trying to «postdate» the shipment. It would allow me to postdate one order, but not the other two. The online chat window told me this was a «glitch» in their system and to call into customer service. I called customer service, only to be told to go to the Omaha Steaks store and place my order there, and that the store and the online service offered the same promotions.
Thankfully, I have an Omaha Steaks store near me, there is only one in the NoVa area, so I lucked out. I ventured out that way, got to the store, proceeded with the ordering process, that included a $ 16.99 shipping charge per order, and then an addition $ 7.99 charge per order to post ship them. Uh, that is $ 74.94 more than what I could get online, no thank you! After explaining everything that I have already been through and asking if there was a way she could check on things, ya know, because I have already tried to place this order three times now, she told me, «No, there is nothing I can do».
I got back in the car and immediately called the main Omaha Steaks number and basically told them this was my final attempt at placing an almost $ 500.00 order. Eventually, they agreed to honor the online free shipping offer, after my reminder that the «glitch» in THEIR system was the whole reason this couldn’t be done online in the first place.
Good thing they have good steaks… I am generally not one to deal with that type of aggravation when I am looking to spend money. In all fairness, I do really enjoy their products which is why I like to give them as gifts. I wish the customer service was as «tender» as the meat!

Omaha steaks has by far the best customer service I have ever encountered! They helped me with my order issue no questions asked! (Please note, this issue was not related to anything Omaha had done) I will continue to use Omaha Steaks as well as promote their company to friends and family.

Probably something that makes i t that much more worth it is that all the meats are shrink-​wrapped individually so you only toake out what you want or need and don’t have to worry about freezer-​burn attacking your precious yummies.
This businsess is always running some sort of special or sale where you get awesome savings sometimes upwards of 70% or more. I have made out like a bandit just recently.
