First impression of this restaurant: dirty and old. My table is also sticky, however the foods was amazingly good. There are also a lot of varieties. They have both Americanized Chinese foods and real Chinese foods. I love their fried frogs leg, fried crispy squid, and dim sum. Even though this place is not very clean, but I will continue to come back because their foods is hard to resist.

I wish they had Deer Stew unfortunately not many restauraunts offer Deer meat. Well anyhow I havent tried there buffet but I love having me Peter Pan when Im in the area. Overall I give this place 4 stars

Recently dined here while on vacation with my family. Perhaps We came on a bad day? Our experience was well below average. My dining table was sticky. The food was not seasoned well. My soda tasted flat. Once we were shown to our table, our waitress never returned to our table to check on us. Giving this establishment a rating of 1 star is awful generous of me… Would not recommend this joint if you’re looking for a satisfying Chinese buffet meal.

If you’re looking for a good Chinese buffet, keep looking. We’ve eaten at lots of buffets and this is one of the worst. Hot food was barely warm and cold items were nearly room temperature. Almost everything was bland and mushy. Our drinks were only filled when we asked, after about 15 minutes. We ate at noon on a Saturday, so I’m afraid what a non-peak experience would be like! My first clue was the broken blinds in the window while walking in. NEVER coming back!!!

I have been to Peter Pan a couple times. It is an average Asian buffet. As in average, it comes with mostly all the good and bad of them. First off, I will give the pros of the place. There is a lot of different kinds of food available to eat all the time when I get there and that the buffet is always full. There is never an empty pan there, and if there is one that is close to being empty, then it is replaced. I guess that is because there is someone there to make sure of it. The parking lot is great. It has a lot of spaces and is never really full even though it is a small shopping area. In addition, the manager there is very friendly. He will fill in a role whenever it is busy and is the standard of what a manager should be. Now the cons. Lousy service from the employees. The waitresses are lazy and always standing talking to one another or have their faces stuck on their cell phones, only when the manager is not present. The layout of the tables are somewhat cramped. They don’t have a lot of moving room, and often people bump into one another on a constant basis. Don’t know if there is a limit to how many people that can be in the building, but that should be checked. The bathrooms are very dirty. It looks like someone just set it up on the first day, and left it to rot for the many months or years it has been there. And the middle grounds. The food there has a lot of different quality issues. One dish can be terribly greasy, or salty, or just crap. While other dishes might be great. One thing I will have to say is that it has a large variety. There is always something different to eat and try. The place can also be considered dirty, but when you go to a buffet, what do you expect? It isn’t going to have the highest quality of all worlds. Overall, I do recommend people to go, only if they have cravings for different types of foods. If you have something in particular that you want, then go to a restaurant that focuses on that specialty. It’s a buffet people.

It’s an okay place for chinese buffet. price is alright for lunch, but overpriced for dinner or weekends. looks not very clean, but at least it almost has everything, hot bars, fried chickens, bbq, even a sushi and phở station and icecream machine. i know it might not be that clean, but please, i’m not ashamed of my stomach craving for lots of different food at the same time and msg, and oil.

Very good buffet. Had my favorite item. I was surprised. It was way fresher this time then last time we was there.

Is it too much to get what I paid for? I guess not since we’re dealing with a buffet here. The place feels like a cafeteria with 90s décor but who cares, it’s buffet. We tried many things with a high consistency of mediocre to bad but who cares, it’s buffet. Dry fried chicken, dry greasy bbq ribs, watery soft bean curd(taho), bland overcooked steamed salmon, bland Peking duck, kids grabbing stale fries from the serving station with their bare hands, stale cardboard pizza, etc, but who cares, it’s buffet! At some point while eating here, I had to reflect on my life. Why did I get that third plate stacked high with food that only 50% ended up in me and the rest in the trash? Why did I keep shoveling it in when at some point I couldn’t tell the difference between chicken and pork. Why didn’t I care about diminishing returns after my first plate, oh that’s right, it’s buffet!

Not a good restaurant. The food was not very good, with the exception of the Sushi which appeared to be fresh. Otherwise the variety and freshness of the entire buffer was very poor. Given this level if quality, the $ 12.85 price is too high.

Ended up here because family wanted to eat buffet on Saturday. About 10 years ago I was excited to go to Peter Pan and it was an affordable dinner. The price still isn’t bad for a buffet which includes a drink too. The line was chaotic and there were 4 – 5 tour buses bringing people here this night. Not sure when that became a thing. The floor manager ended yelling at costumers who were yelling at each other(speaking in a language I didn’t understand so I don’t know what it was about) and it made things awkward. I’m more of a meat eater and the best thing I had was the peking duck wraps and fries(surprise). I felt bad for the server b/c he had to prepare that and the soup(soup base bland). I was excited to see chow fun because I don’t usually see that at buffets but I regretted it. Normally my bf loves crawfish but only had a handful here(check out Teppanyaki grill buffet in Richmond for good seasoned buffet crawfish). My bro said the sushi was good. Servers are somewhat efficient in clearing plates.

I only gave this place a one star because first off the environment and theme of this place is awful. They haven’t renovate it for years– around ten? Not to mention they for have ac. They only use fans on this day which is probably in the high 90 degrees. Also this place is very dirty. The tables and chairs are sticky and their service is terrible. All the waitresses look pissed and do not attempt to even seem happy in front of you. They even bumped into me without apologizing. Now about the food. It tastes so oily and looks like they dumped 50 gallons of oil to cook it. Their sushi is mushy and fake. This is worse than eating mcdonalds. But then again I don’t expect much for a ten dollar meal, yet your better off with just fast good. To close the button is close to the door to get inside the house The button in the corner upper one

While this place was once one of the better places for Chinese buffet in Northern Virginia, sadly the years haven’t been kind to it. The food quality and variety has dropped significantly, serving lower quality food over the years. The interior is a bit antiquated, with the store mainly staying alive due to what seems like contracts with a Chinese tourist agency. I’d say the price doesn’t match the overall quality. While there are still one or two tasty options there, unless you’re coming just for that or to get full, I’d suggest going somewhere else.

4 stars for the food 5 stars for the service 4 stars for the décor Here’s why… This place is classic. I remember coming here as a kid in highschool and this place has never changed in quality of service or food. They have everything from frog legs to roast duck to sushi. The manager Lou, he may be the owner, has always been a first class gentleman to my family and I don’t expect he’ll ever change. Place is starting to look old so I can understand the previous reviews but everyone needs to calm down, this isn’t Las Vegas. As far as Chinese buffets in the area go, this place is awesome.

Buffet à volonté à l’américaineAll you can eat en anglais.
