Probably my favorite fast food fried chicken chain. I absolutely love the spicy fried chicken as it holds just the right amount of spice and not overpowering. I love how crispy the chicken and juicy on the inside. The sides here are amazing as well. The cajun fries are a must!
One thing I love to do is put jelly on the biscuits. Try it for yourself, maybe you will like it as much as I.
Recently, I have been a big fan of the blackened chicken tenders. Basically they are grilled chicken tenders, and I would dip them into the sweet heat sauce. If you order the blackened chicken tenders, be prepared to wait about 10 minutes as they do not make them in advance. This is why I also love ordering them because they are made to order. FRESH HOT TENDERS!!!

Came here for the second time ever.
Had to grab a quick meal for my kid before going to an event.
We decided to share a 3 piece meal for 8.99. It came with 3 spicy pieces of chicken, and 2 sides. We choose the Cajun fries with mashed potatoes.
I really liked the mashed potatoes with gravy. The chicken was really well. Cajun could of been more fresh.
For about 11 bucks it was about to enough to feed both my son and myself.

Worse service ever. They have no respect to their customers. Don’t bother coming here. I can’t believe that the mananger doesn’t even step in and do something about their employees. The district manager should be fired for hiring such rude employees. This place should be closed down. Would never come back ever… next time I come back ill make be sure to get the employees name and manager. Best believe me I will call in to them something to think about. Never come here unless you want to experience your worst service ever.

Yesterday I didnt have enough money so my friend bought me mcdonalds and we actually brought it into popeyes because my other friend wanted a chicken tender sandwich. The mcdonalds acutally tasted better inside popeyes environment and lead me to eating popeyes for dinner tonight. I got the chicken tender sandwich platter with grape sprite drank. The chicken is always the loud at popeyes. The service is always great and the food comes out el perfecto. We actaully went to the fair oaks popeyes and as we were about to order we just turned around and said lets just go to greenbriar. I go to popeyes mon-​tuesday cause of the great deals… theres no otha chicken spot then this one. This popeyes has the soda machine and not the boring soda dispenser that all other fast food places have. I’m acutally a computer gamer so whenever its time to refill my drink i always treat like a game. What will i drink today? is the quest i put myself on. POPEYES CHICKEN IS THE BEST! All my friends when they get together to eat … they always say popeyes or im just gonna eat at home. So thanks for everything green briar popeyes!

I had some bad experience other popeyes. But this one is seriously the best popeyes that I ever been. Clean, food quality good (no salty like normally) nice service.

You just can’t compare other fried chicken spots to Popeyes. There unique tasting batter is what makes their chicken so good. I always use the drive thru and they are prompt and courteous. The chicken tenders and biscuit are my go to here. Popeyes chicken is the best!

The BEST Popeyes i have ever been in. The food qas really good. The service was a but odd… but great all around. We were in town and decided to stop here since our Popeyes here is disgusting. We ordered a spicy chicken box to go and ate it in the car. They looked at us funny when we said we were going to share one box.
It’s in an interesting strip mall of sorts but next time we are around, we’ll stop in again.

Clean and remodeled. Hey its fried chicken what else do you want lol. Its always consistent and hot. Um not much else other than if you need some crunchy chicken its the place and better than the other chicken place but hey that’s my opinion.

Eating at any chain is a crap-shoot…this one is… bad. Had to wait 10 minutes… for dark meat chicken. The chicken «tenders» were rubbery. They let me fill up two drink glasses with «water»…before informing me the lemonade needed to be changed. Should not have placed a to-​go order. Will not eat here again. The biscuits were good.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I was in the drive thru in the process of relaying my order to the employee that he failed to understand. I spoke with a very clear voice and repeated myself multiple times as I understand it is sometimes hard to hear but this guy was beyond rude. He kept saying that I was not making any sense and doesn’t know what I want. Does he not understand English and can’t even get part of my order right? How hard is it to get two large fries, 22 Pieces of chicken and biscuits. Just as I thought this couldn’t get any worse he cut me off. While I was pointing out his rude attitude, he insulted me and cut off the speaker completely. I am furious and drove away after that. I really question the standards Popeyes has for their employees. I do NOT recommend coming here.

This Popeye’s underwent a major renovation in 2013, and looks fantastic. At it’s core, it’s fast food fried chicken. You know what you’re getting. Nothing magical, nothing awe inspiring, but it’s good. Actually, it’s far better than it should be. When it comes to fried chicken, Popeye’s does it well. REALLY well. And their biscuits… Mmmmm. Little discs of floury sin and happiness.
*cough* Anyway… as much as I’m ashamed to admit it, but I’ve been to this location far, FAR more than any living human should be. Popeye’s is always a reliable, safe bet and the food and service have always been fairly top notch. I mean, who doesn’t like chicken? Oh, and did I mention how good the biscuits are?
This Popeye’s has two major, MAJOR downfalls (and they’re not the restaurant’s fault, but can make going there frustrating). For one, lunch hour at this place can be crazy. I’ve seen the line go out the door before. Yeah, not fun. Between the 11:30 to 12:30 workday lunch rush the place is packed, and trying to find a seat can be near impossible. If you’re heading here just be prepared. They tend to sort out the line fairly quickly, but it can get pretty big (and fast!).
Getting in and out of the place is also annoying. The entire parking/​traffic area is a mess, but again, it’s not Popeye’s fault. If you’re trying to leave, don’t fight the light and all the traffic that can pour through it. Drive down by Bonefish and exit there. It’s less headache inducing, and far, FAR less trafficked.

Now I crave Popeye’s biscuits. I should not have written this review. This may have been a mistake.

The food was fine, but compared to other Popeye’s I’ve been to in the surrounding area, it was lacking. The drink machine was out of a lot of flavors, and the chicken strips were pretty flimsy. The place was also like a damn sauna inside, so I had to go outside to eat. Staff was okay, but at other locations they have been much friendly. We always usually get extra strips for free randomly (i guess they just make too much) at other Popeye’s but not this one.

+1 star for awesome soda machine.

Fast service (even standing in line 20 mins before the Super Bowl) and yummy fried greasy chicken! How can one go wrong with that? My favorite sides are the Cole slaw, red beans and rice and the mash potatoes! I grew up on KFC and this place kicks KFC outta town! Yummy! Ill be back for more. This location is pretty new and very clean. I’m not into fast food at all but was presently surprised how this food and service ended up.

If you like fried chicken you’ve likely decided which fast food chicken you prefer. I think Popeyes is the best. Chicken is usually hot and juicy with crispy skin. Best to eat the fries fresh. Great biscuits, but today’s seemed a little less buttery. Love their cajun rice.
Been going to this one since childhood and I’ve never had any issues. It has become more expensive over the years but usually I can find some sort of deal to save some money.
Since the last time I’ve been there is the new soda machine where you can make combinations.
All sorts of people come to enjoy the chicken here. Haven’t had any costumer service issues. Tables are generally clean and the area is typical suburban. Renovations a couple of years ago and the windows are big and a lot of sun.

«Love That Chicken From Popeyes!» It always reminds me of their jingle on TV. Who doesn’t love louisiana fried chicken? I know its not the real deal but hey, growing up with Popeyes, its always good once in awhile. I love how they have that machine that mixes your drinks its amazing! I always get the combo for 3 pieces and 2 sides, I like their mash potatoes and who can forget their biscuits? mmm… This stuff can get greasy and heavy but if you dont mind like me, its always a great choice.

I have been a big fan of Popeye’s Chicken for many years.
There are some suttle differences between all of the stores that I have noticed.
In the past, all Popeyes had the same onion rings which I LUV!
There are more and more locations getting away from the traditional flour covered that they have served since day one. The replacement rings are like BK… yuck.
This Greenbriar location still serves onion rings exactly the way I like them.
The same Chinese owner also has a great location in Reston near the Sheraton hotel.
Anyway, this location is by far my very favorite of all in NOVA.
(I read some negative reviews talking about the «rude Chinese lady». There are two or three of them working there as managers. All of them have been very nice to me.)

Been coming here for a while, cuz they have cheap 2 piece specials Mon-​Wed. They always have 1 Chinese server on duty, may be a family thing. We’ve been happy with this place, UNTIL we got served some funny smelling chicken. It had a strong fishy smell. Being hungry, we ate it anyway. We’ll probably return when I forget about this incident.

Ummm its Popeyes, its cheap and gets the job done

My husband and I ordered two of family meal from here on Christmas Eve around 5:30PM and the Chinese lady was our cashier. She was VERY rude. Interrupted my husband a couple of times while ordering but never apologized for it and never said thank you after we paid although my husband thanked her three times. Food was good but the service was really bad. Not sure how other cashiers would provide service but I will not go back there.
So hard to find a good people in the service industry these days.
