Public Storage

This facility used to be owned by Stor-​all and several years ago a friend of mine rented a unit for their overflow holiday decorations and family heirlooms. I’d visited the location a few times to help her out with moving this and that and found it to be clean and one of the best storage places I’d seen. I’ve seen many over the years, living as a military brat most of my life. HOWEVER, this is now under the business of Public Storage, and since its been rebranded the prices of units has gone up dramatically. I considered renting a unit temporarily and visited with my friend recently. We arrived to find that the security gate was not only inoperable but completely removed (talk about shady mcshaderson), the inside of the building was filthy, and the restrooms which were such an added bonus before are now locked and unusable — not too great when you’re working for awhile to clear out and need to go! My friend has visited several times over the past month to go through items and has noticed that the leaves which blew in last fall are still all over the lobby floor and now into the elevators. It seems that no staff members are checking the facilities… or if they are they don’t care to sweep up the dirt. These seem like trivial matters, but compared to the pristine safe place it used to be, it now feels kind of like a dump! With some care this place could be better, but for now I’d say… look elsewhere.
