Sad and will never return. I have been noticing Red Zones post on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Who wouldn’t be interested in a $ 34.99 crab/shrimp feast. Dining experience started with the manager seating us and I said«what’s good». He seemed confused and we said we came for the shrimp. He quickly up-sold us on the $ 34.99 all-you-can eat special. The server came to take our order and he was not very familiar with the menu. I Ordered cider it was out. He brought some hush puppies not bad. Waited 30 minutes for the small plate of legs/medium shrimp. It was all rubbery, tasteless, been sitting to long in the pot of water, spices were not Old Bay(maybe salt???), cocktail sauce was made with a cheep Catsup with a hint of horse radish and nothing on the plate was good!!! In fact the place is creepy, with staff whispering to each other, patrons waiting for re-orders for over priced seafood. Don’t Go. Take a time warp trip back to Chesapeake Seafood House.

Never patronize the Redzone Bar and Grill in 10560 Main Street Fairfax, Va. I met my line sister there for some girl time and we were served crablegs that was spoiled and emitted a strong smell of ammonia. Several other patrons in the place complained of the same issue. We asked for the manager and she took forever to come and when she did she had a major attitude. She refused to admit that the crablegs were bad. She was pointing her fingers and bobbing her head back and forth. I was on 100. I kept my cool thanks to my LS. The manager also lied and said that we ate 7 servings of food. We had two plates each with one cluster of crablegs and a handful of shrimp. Then the manager called the police because we refused to leave until we spoke to the owner. Bad situation. Bad service. Bad food. Will never visit this establishment again. Please keep this in mind when looking for seafood in Fairfax, Va. When the owner finally showed up he had a poor attitude and really didn’t want to hear anything we had to say. They offered us a dessert as if I would eat something else from them. Then he asked us to never come back again, well that’s an understatement I will gladly never patronize again. I did pay the bill so that they could not accuse us of stealing food. So out done.

Haven’t been in for awhile. Seafood is so good. I was craving crab legs and shrimp! I wanted to see the bartender Jessica, she is awesome and fast. All you can eat 34.99 per person till 10 pm. Wait staff works really hard! Don’t forget to take care of them. Gratuity is only included in 5 or more. I didn’t care for the calamari… But the crabs are to die for. Try it out. Weekends are nuts. Come a week night.

Let me start by saying this is a hidden gem with excellent service and great food! My first experience was Sunday with my BFF and her and I did the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. I didn’t care too much for the popcorn shrimp so I went back to the steamed shrimp. Although Sunday they had issues with the heat, I was kept warm by the black velvet shot and my full belly! Today, I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he is definitely more of a foodie than I am and he was pleased. He had the fish and chips and I had the marinated salmon and veggies. Let me just say that the food came out fresh, hot and packed with flavored! The only complaint was that my boyfriends fish was fried too long. But other than that the food was great! They also have pin ball machines and pool tables(bring your quarters…$ 1 per game) He told the waitress before leaving«oh we will be back» and he was right about that!

After eating there, if I could take away the star I gave it, I would. Let start off by saying that the place was not packed with customers so there is no way the service should have been as bad as it was. We had no utensils until we were on the 2nd plate, nor did we get butter or cocktail sauce until then(after repeated requests for it). The fried shrimp were the smallest popcorn shrimp ever! The first few orders of crab legs were over cooked, the last orders of shrimp were over cooked. Because it took so long to get water refills we just asked the waitress to give us a pitcher of water so we could serve ourselves. It was an all around horrible experience. Better off going to the grocery store and buying your own and eating them at home.

I just downloaded Unilocal just to write this review of this… smh… overall I enjoyed my night out drinking with some friends, this place had some problems. They couldnt find the marinara sauce for my mozzarella. My mozzarella stick tasted like seafood; glad I don’t have an allergy. Speaking of allergy. One of my friends is allergic to coconut and told the waitress to make sure that her drink wasn’t made with the coconut flavored rum. Of corse it was. Each problem that we came across the waitress did her best to make us happy. Oh yeah this was her first day and I saw no help for her as she served our party of six and 5 other tables on a Saturday night.

When we arrived it was dead in the place. We asked the hostess about an offer we found on Facebook and she was unaware of any specials. She sent the manager over and he was rude. Told us there was no specials and walked away. Before ordering we asked the hostess/waitress about the drink specials. We were told it was $ 2 bucks off of everything. When we got the bill she said the manager recently canceled all specials. He should have honored it because that is what she told us, but again the manager was rude. We ordered the all you can eat seafood and it was ok. First batch was ok. Shrimp was saggy and crabs and shrimp had NO seasoning. The waitress was really sweet and brought us extra seasoning for our food. She brought the seafood out quickly but the more she brought out the worse it got. At the end we asked about a desert menu. She told us they ran out and didn’t have a chance to make it to the store. Overall I was very disappointed. It was my 30th bday and I was hoping to have a great night out. The manager was rude and the food was OK at best. The waitress was very sweet but not knowledgeable about specials. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Save your 35 bucks

My visit here today was not worth the drive from DC. The seafood that was 34.99 tasted old and after the second plate I was ready to go. For that to have been a sports bar and Sunday me and my son were the only people in the joint. Trust me don’t waste for money.

Horrible. My sorority held our semi-formal dance there and they were really strict on who they allowed in. Keep in mind this is a private event. The people under the age of 21(the majority) were kicked out within thirty minutes of being there, while they limited the amount of drinks for the ones who were 21 simply because the ABC cops were there. We paid good money to have an event here only to see that the venue had not been decorated as was asked, we got sent home early and arrived late, as well as bouncers that were not at all professional.(Taking sips of people’s SPRITE and only sprite and continuing to not allow them in). Such rude staff members. Horrible, horrible venue and working on getting our money back. DONOTHOLDANEVENTHERE.

Will never return to this place again. Never got past the front door. Went to see a Ravens game, figured a sports bar would have all of the games played that day as they all do around the area. They were only showing the Redskins on all channels. I could have stayed home and watched that game there in the comfort of my own home. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly, indicated that they had changed cable companies recently and would go ask the manager about the Ravens game. Was waiting there forever and staff finally returned and said no it wouldn’t be on. I was so looking forward to trying their AYCE shrimp and crab legs, but I never set foot in this place again. Ended up going to a competitor in the area where I’ve seen games in the past. If you’re looking for a team to watch besides the Redskins, go somewhere else where they actually have all of the day’s games on that you can watch and enjoy with other fans.

I came here with my husband for his high school reunion. The food was surprising good especially their buffalo wings. I think it is a sport bar but can’t be sure because of the reunion(loud music). Will definitely come back here on a regular day to check out the rest of their menu.

This place smells so bad. What bothers me the most is the people that actually do come here are so rowdy and loud on the patio we can hear them Dom where we live all hours of the night. It’s very obnoxious. If you’re being that loud in a restaurant, you’re probably being over-served.

0 stars. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I ordered boneless wings. They came with bones in. I ordered Louisiana pasta with shrimp. It came with chicken instead. They added an automatic gratituity. I assume because she knew we weren’t gonna leave a real tip due to horrible service. Will never come here again.

Not sure if the RedZone is suppose to be a sports bar, a restaurant or a club. There are many TVs lining the walls, there’s an area with red leather sofas and a large flat screen. In another section there’s table and chair section as if it’s a restaurant with a menu that offers burgers, salads, munchies and an ayce crab legs and shrimp. On the other side there’s a nice size dance floor and a DJ stand. Overall the venue is decent for a party or just hanging out with friends.

Came for the endless crab legs and shrimp. The food wasn’t bad but we picked a day to come! There were a few parties and the little kids were running around all over the place. There are pool tables in a corner and the kids were loud and threw all the pool sticks on the floor, granted the staff aren’t babysitters but these kids were so bad and the parents didn’t care, and customers were starting to get upset. I literally couldn’t eat without a little kid running by my table and screaming. Thankfully they left before we finished but wow. Our server was a little forgetful but I think he was new. If you have more then 5 a reservation is required and I guess late on the weekends they have a DJ. I’d come back but make sure it’s clear of screaming kids first.

We only stopped here because we had a coupon. We did not stick around to use it. We walked in and the place immediately looked run down and had an odor. There seemed to be only one server working and it took her 5 minutes to seat us(considering there were 3 other tables this was kind of ridiculous). The menu is very limited. A few burgers and bar apps. Their big thing seems to be $ 34.99 all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Not being seafood lovers we were not impressed. The service was so slow and the interior was so dingy we took off. Skip this one unless you really like crab legs.

If you love snow crabs and shrimp(and LOTS of it) you have to try this place. It’s all you can eat, freshly steamed for $ 35/person. Each plate comes with half snow crab and handful of steamed shrimp. I asked them to hold the shrimp and no Olé bay seasoning to reduce the water intake from the sodium so i can eat more crab!!! I probably ate a total of 3 large snow crabs which equates to 6 plates!!! Totally worth it if you can eat like me ;) They also bring in a DJ @ 10pm for some dancing. There’s also 2 pool tables if you like to play.

Went here today for the first time and apparently the power went out due to the wind and fallen tree. It was so cold in that place and I’ve had better crab legs from the local grocery store. When the fresh steamed crab legs came out we used the steam that was coming off the food to warm our hands that’s how cold it was and they even sat is next to the fireplace only thing was the firewood was so old it wasn’t even burning anymore. I won’t be returning Update: 2 – 18 someone who apparently is affiliated in some way with this place decided to send me personal message on Unilocal being rude and obnoxious. This place is a JOKE and clearly the people associated are clowns too!

The only reason this dump gets two stars is because of LEON the initial server was not friendly or attentive The crab legs are served one cluster at a time I’m fine with that if our server could be found Never returned to asked how everything was Just because its all you can eat doesn’t make it good I explained to the server that her service was not good She offered a new server No manager ever appeared The crab legs started off great them got soggy and salty YUCK!!! 34.99!!! Think about the meals that you’ve had in recent memory where you paid 34.99 or more. Now think about this. For 34.99 you can have all you can eat crab legs and peel and eat shrimp, served to you, not the kind of all you can eat where they’re sitting in some sorry buffet and people are lined up for the next batch to come out. That’s what you can expect at Red Zone Sports Bar. I ate so many crab legs that I felt guilty. Well, for about 15 minutes then I ordered another batch. Lol This place is humongous for a sports bar which could easily double as a dance spot at night. It seems new, with pool tables and flat screens throughout. It’s a nice little ride from my house but I can see me making this trip at least once or twice a month because it’s definitely worth it. The Red Zone rum punch is addictive, but this is where they make up for any lost money because it’s definitely overpriced for the serving size(tiny and $ 9). Do your wallet a favor and stick with beer in the this joint because I was going through those Rum Punches like it was water and no there was no price on it until my bill came. Whewww. Not pretty!!! Lol If you’re a crab leg lover, ignore the negative reviews on this place and take my word for it, you will be quite pleased!
