I’m surprised to see such negative reviews. I’ve gone to Dr. Donohue for many years and have always felt like he has always listened when I’ve had dental issues, been careful and gentle and has never tried to upsell. I would recommend his office to any of my friends and family.

Dangerous! Gives dentists a bad name. He messed up two simple fillings and created an overhang. I came back four times and he said all was normal. I finally went to another dentist that clearly showed me the problems he created.
He says hes planning to retire but won’t. As a bonus, his hands are always shaking.

Extremely incompetent dentist. I complaint about my teeth ache couple times, he said there was no issue, and finally I was persistent of double checking and he found it. And of course, doubled visit cost doubled money! That’s why you are always «welcomed» to go back. I have to use WebMD to identify my symptom and suggest him what to do after the filling. A good dentist should know what to do and do the best to prevent issues, not just fixing them and charging the patient!

My dentist Dr. Richard Donohue is awesome! I actually found him on the Washingtonian’s Top Dentist list. When I first went to him, I had a gut-wrenching fear of dentists. His team and him eased my fears and now I no longer have any problems heading to a dentist. Definitely one of the best dentists I have ever encountered.
