I started at SAPT6 months ago with little knowledge of weight training. During the assessment session, I told them I wanted to increase my general fitness and I played recreational soccer and tennis. From that I had a weekly program to follow that is updated every 3 weeks to reflect goals and progress. Training sessions were booked through the website where you can sign up for training times(no more than 6 per session). I’ve never had a problem with scheduling or rescheduling sessions to fit my needs. From they start all the coaches were very supportive. The coaches were always available to answer questions, explain the purpose of your exercise, and provide tips to improve. Each one clearly had an in-depth knowledge of physical training as well as how they apply to sports. They would always be around to motivate and encourage you during workouts. Often, my coach would be just as excited as I was when I hit fitness goals. Overall, SAPT has really improved my overall fitness and knowledge of physical training. I enjoy my training sessions with all the coaches and look forward to constantly improving. Their pricing programs are also much more reasonable than personal training at large gyms or fitness centers.

The people at SAPT are some of the most passionate people in the strength and conditioning industry. I have never met a group that cares so much about the health and well being of others that they spend nearly every waking moment studying and teaching people about how to move better, faster, and stronger. The training programs they write are based on years of study and research and they individualize it to a persons needs. They first give you an assessment in which they take videos and analyze specific movement patterns to find strengths and weaknesses. They then use the information to design an intelligent, safe and highly effective program to you or your athlete the competitive edge. If you are unsure just go and talk to them yourself and you will instantly see their passion and devotion to make you and your athlete better. Don’t hesitate and go and get that edge.

I am naturally lazy with a variety of injuries that generally give me an excuse to indulge that laziness. But the trainers here not only wrote a personalized program that worked around my injuries, it was kinda fun too. All of the trainers are highly knowledgeable, but very personable as well. They are approachable for questions and for just nerding out on fitness lore. They push me when I need it, but always with my safety and continued progress in mind.

The is the best training organization in the Washington Metropolitan area bar none. You will not find a better place to train or train student athletes in the area. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all sports and what it takes to develop strength, flexibility, and mobility. Go in for a consultation at the bare minimum. You won’t regret it.
