Sunshine Frozen Yogurt

Nice little Froyo spot in the heart of Fairfax. To be honest, there is nothing that really separates this spot from other locations. I think what hurts this spot is the lack of yogurt selections. They offer, regular tart, cookies and cream, strawberry, and cake batter. I feel like a larger chain location of froyo would offer a larger selection of yogurt. The toppings are about the same as any other yogurt spot.
Overall, this Froyo spot deserves 3 stars because they are very average, and dont really offer a large selection of yogurt.

This is by far the best tasting frozen yogurt in town. I wasn’t much of a froyo person before but sunshine yogurt changed me. I am a regular here and they are so consistent and treat customers really well. Their toppings are great and they keep the place really clean. I am so happy this place exists in Fairfax.

How could you NOT support such an excellent local business? Every time I have gone in, which has been more than I should admit, the staff has been very sweet! The fro-​yo itself has the slight tanginess I like. I am also very impressed by how clean they keep everything. Living right above the store makes it a little too easy to take advantage of their rewards program, but I am loving it.
Excellent all-​around and I will see you again soon!

This place is great! Delicious flavors, great selection of toppings, and free caramel or fudge! The shop is clean and has plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The owners are the nicest, sweetest people, and are always friendly. This place is WAY better than any of the other chain fro-​yo places you’ll find. Try it once, and you’ll be hooked!

Finally stopped by this shop on my way home over this week and it was awesome! We usually drive further to get frozen yogurt but this is just as good as Sweet Frogs (actually they are more welcoming).qa We will be going here for yogurt more often now! Doesn’t help that it’s in walking distance. Haha! The toppings were fresh (especially the nuts) and the yogurt was not overly sweet! They even have FREE Ghiradelli Caramel and Chocolate fudge! The employee was very sweet and welcoming as well! They are worth a try if you are in the area! We walked there but there is an attached parking lot (free) and there is street parking as well! Tell them area code 706 sent you! =)

Tired of other self serve yogurt shops that are broken or have no blueberries or fresh strawberries. Finally a yogurt shop that all their machines are working, they have real fresh blueberries and delicious fresh strawberries. This place is clean, bright and cheerful. Soft seating and covered outdoor seating. Large screen TV to watch the news. Lots of street parking plus extra off street. The best part is the friendly staff.

High quality and delicious. Free hot fudge and locally owned, this place is superb. Tons of toppings, from the traditional sprinkles to several types of cereal. What more do you want!!!

Happened upon this spot and decided to check it out. This was around 2:30, and to our disappointment, it wasn’t opened yet. As we were walking away, owner came out and said he’d open for us. Very kind. Yogurt was yummy. Good toppings. Clean. Friendly staff. Kudos for free hot fudge! We like that it’s independently owned — love supporting small businesses. My fave flavors were missing:(Cheesecake and white choc mousse… hope they make the menu one day! And hope Summer hours are longer!

We had a good old hankering for some frozen yogurt, as is customary in 34 degree weather and we walked over to Sunshine Yogurt to sate our cravings. The place seemed closed at first but Rob let us in even though they closed early. He was super polite and accommodating and served us anyway. Will definitely return again!

I would go here over pinkberry any day! More bang for your buck and the chocolate is better, friendly staff and free hot fudge!

@government center parkway & ridge top rd: new stop-​in, choose about 50 or so toppings on 8 or 10 flavors, mix it up, pay about 30cents/​ounce!

We live nearby and were excited to see a frozen yogurt place within walking distance. They did not have any fresh fruit when we stopped by but I believe they now have additional toppings including there fresh fruit.

Brand new. Clean. Frozen yogurt was delicious. Great selection, lots of toppings, free hot fudge, and half the price of Pinkberry. Very friendly staff too.

I walked over to this place just after they officially opened. It was just 5 minutes after 9 and I saw they had just closed. The little one badly wanted froyo so without even knocking, one of the owners comes to the door, unlocks it and let’s my family and I in. He then powers up all the froyo dispensers and welcomes us in.
If that doesn’t earn your business, then I don’t know what else does. So unselfish and welcoming is just what this neighborhood needs. A friendly local business that enjoys being in the neighborhood as much as all the neighbors.
The froyo was good as well. Lots of choices of flavors and many toppings to compliment it. My family and I will be frequenting this place for sure and so should you!

Set in a nice neighborhood sunshine yogurt is a great place to stop by after going to the pool, working out, or just for a snack or dessert. Yogurt choices are extensive, including the toppings. You can’t beat free hot fudge even if it’s for a limited time. My husband loves the vanilla (with hot fudge) whereas I prefer the original tart with a ton of fruit. Brand new and clean, we’ve already been there twice. Totally reasonable prices. A must visit.

This place is ok. When we went in last week and the staff was a little odd and the yogurt flavors were just ok. The yogurt itself was good! They just need better and more interesting variety.
