Tingting Zhu, DMD

I’ve been going to Dr. Zhu for about a year now and can’t say enough good things about her. She always does the job right the first time, is always super nice, and never tries to push anything unnecessary on you. She was a breath of fresh air after switching from my last dentist.

Dr Ting Ting Zhu is absolutely the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She’s super nice and has a passion to make the experience the best it can be. When I go for my visits, she explains everything to me so there’s not question on the status of my dental health.
It’s definitely a delight to find a dentist who really cares.

Dr. Zhu is most certainly one of the top dentist in Virginia, if not the country. I, like most of you, generally get an acute stress response at the thought of visiting the dentist — which is why I hadn’t been to see one in over a decade. When I entered Dr. Zhu’s office I was instantly taken aback by the modern equipment and décor. She certainly has spared no expense in creating a workspace to match her professionalism.
During my consultation I received the news I’d been dreading: eight cavities and two root canals. As you would expect a torrent of anxiety washed over me. If it were not for pride I may have simply said good day at this point. Dr. Zhu however (as I’m sure this is a reaction she is not unaccustomed to) put me at ease with a remarkably candid speech stating indisputable facts. Given little choice in the matter due to sound logic I consented to what I believed would be a living nightmare. The next five hours were far more painful for Dr. Zhu than for me! Her tools and techniques are truly state of the art. I can honestly state that outside of a bit of tugging here and there, I felt absolutely no pain — not even during the injections. Dr. Zhu is a wizard and a master of her craft. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a visit!)

I’m not generally a fan of going to the dentist. Her «chair side» manners are reassuring. I had to undergo my 1^st root canal. I was so relaxed, that I fell asleep during the entire process. I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the entire process. She also explained what was happening throughout the entire process.

Got my teeth cleaned soon after Dr. Zhu opened her office, and found the experience enjoyable (as much as one can call any dental visit enjoyable). She was thorough with her exam and fairly light handed with the ultrasonic tooth cleaner and scraper thing. My teeth were very clean.
She also took her time reviewing the treatment plan with me to ensure I understood my options and had a chance to get my questions answered. I really like her friendly style, and I will definitely keep her as my dentist!
