Walgreens

I switched my Rx to this Walgreens from the horrible CVS on the corner of Prosperity and 236. It was the best move ever. Though further away, the pharmacists and techs are knowledgeable, hard working and really take the time to help out their customers/​patients. Dr. Benson the Pharmacy manager is really nice and helpful and makes you feel cared for.

This is my fourth visit to this Walgreen’s location. The parking is a little tricky at first. Be careful when pulling your car out of the parking spot. Every time I come here, people fly right by and don’t look.
The store is clean and organized. The beauty section seems incomplete compared to the one Downtown in Chinatown. Chinatown location has everything and so much more.
Would be nice if Nutley Street location had more items in stock. This location seems very limited when it comes to merchandise and availability of merchandise.
Have not tried the pharmacy or photo services here.

Very nice and clean store and also well organized. Good customer service both in the front and the pharmacy. The one negative was they didn’t stock enough merchandize…

The pharmacy at this location is outstanding. Every one is very knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. On more than one occasion they have gone the extra mile to help me with my prescriptions. I appreciate their quality service.

Excellent Pharmacy team. They liaise with doctor and insurance very effectively, and are always ready to give professional advice about medications.
I’ve never enjoyed this standard of cordiality and professionalism from a chain pharmacy.
NOTE: you definitely want this Nutley branch rather than the Walgreens in Central Fairfax… Veeeery different story

The store is okay, but probably needs a better entryway for vehicles to get to it. The store is clean and seems almost empty at times.
The cashiers are usually helpful and kind. The cashiers don’t always ring up the correct price for weekly deals, NOR PUSH THE BUTTON FOR THE DIGITAL COUPONS FROM THE WALGREEN CARD, so be sure to point it out to them or double check your receipt.
I was there recently and the cashier didn’t know how to fix the price for a deal that was going on. The supervisor had to be called to void the transaction. She made an off-​the-​wall and almost condescending comment about coupons — I was using coupons in conjunction with the weekly deals.
Anyway, she had to ring my items up 3 times — made mistakes the first 2 tries. Well, when she saw the end result of my coupons, digital coupons and weekly deals combo, her eyes popped and SHE ASKED ME ABOUT THE CARD AND HOW TO GET THE DIGTAL COUPONS. As a supervisor/​manager of Walgreens, she should know the benefits and perks of having a Walgreens customer card! Trying not to let my internal laughter escape my lips, I put on a straight and NICE face and explained how the card works and how to register on the Walgreens website.

Store is fairly new (1 – 2 yrs?), so aisles are kept clean and parking lot is huge. They carry a diverse assortment of items I like. Pharmacy service has been fast and friendly.

This location routinely does not have items advertised in the circular marked or even in stock at all, which as a bargain shopper and couponer, is extremely frustrating.
The pharmacy staff is so-​so with regard to helpfulness and knowledge. The pharmacist who gave my fiancé and I our flu shot this year was friendly, though the process was a little slow.
The photo department here always prints my photos immediately, so I’ve shown up before the one-​hour mark to find my one-​hour orders done. The counter staff are usually very young and nice, not getting too frustrated with my coupons.
I go here because it’s the closest one, and honestly, it’s just a Walgreens.

Brian, the manager, would always greet me by name and ask if I had any questions about new prescriptions, but was nice enough not to ask about the prescriptions that I fill on a monthly basis! Never a problem since they opened. Helpful, polite, and the entire staff set the bar incredibly high.
I am heartsick that this is no longer my local store.

I adore the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens. They’re helpful and the drive up window is most convenient. The new online refill service makes using this pharmacy even easier.

Good service, clean store. Needs to stock more sale items though.
