William Hughes Rain Gutter Service

I began talking with Mr. Hughes the first week in December. I really liked the way he comes across on the phone. He said he was busy and expensive ($ 300-​$ 400 to clean gutters). All the reviews were 5-​star so I concluded he was worth it and wanted to set up an appointment. He said he could do the job two weeks out and would I call him in one week to remind him. One week later I called him and he thanked me for following up and said he’d confer with his partner about which day next week worked for them. No call back. One week after that (the week he originally said he could do the work) I called again and he said he would do the work on Thursday or Friday of the following week. Nothing. Now we were approaching Christmas so I didn’t want to bother him right then. After the holidays, his website said he was booked for all of January, but replied to online messages within 24 hours. Nothing. For all I know, he might be the best and might do gutter cleaning at a level above and beyond mere mortals. Yesterday, my wife called another service and they came over today and did the job for $ 150.

William was great to work with, he responded to all questions, helped find the quality budget solutions and provided clear estimate prior to doing the work. His quote for fixing some rafters and installing the new gutters and shields was very reasonable. The job was done professionally and in timeframe promised. William was so prompt in answering my email and as soon as we had a break in the weather, he came out to clean my rain gutters and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend William!

Service was prompt, professional and courteous. William is an expert at his trade. He is skillful and understands gutters and downspouts better than just about anyone. We had a downspout that started leaking at a seam and then totally failed and came down after 6 inches of rain during the week. Water was spilling into a trash bin and filling it up every 15 minutes and I was afraid it would threaten the foundation. William responded quickly and replaced the downspout on a weekend morning. He custom built the downspout to be larger than the previous one with a larger opening to the gutter. I was extremely pleased with his work and the price was reasonable. You can’t go wrong with William and he knows his stuff like on one else.

I never actually met William. I needed my gutter repaired and he offered a fair price over the phone and made the repair on my house while I was at work. He also identified another section of gutter that I didn’t even know was broken and repaired that for no extra charge. The whole process was super efficient, fair and easy. He is definitely my go-​to guy for all future cleaning and repair issues.

William redid all of our gutters a couple of years ago. I thought he charged way too little… The gutters still work great. Highly recommended.
