I didn’t realize how much I depended on my USB until I cracked it. I was devastated and immediately started searching for a data recovery place. The first one I tried was
. They had a fancy website and boasted some repairs were as low as $ 19.99. I sent my USB to them only to find out my repair was «tricky» and would cost me upwards of $ 900. Nuts right. I was desperate to get my USB fixed but I wasn’t stupid. I found out later they regularly pulled the ol’ bait and switch. That’s when I stumbled on an A+ Perfect Computers ad on craigslist of all places. With nothing to lose I reached out to them and a little over a week later I received all of my recovered files on a new USB, for less than $ 100. That’s more than $ 800 less than
charged. I highly recommend them and if God forbid, I find myself in this predicament again they’ll be my first call.

I have used their service a couple of times and they are quick, responsive, do the job right the first time and priced great.
I just had a power supply replaced on my PC. The new one gave out within a week and they offered, I didn’t have to ask, a FULL REFUND — parts and labor.
I asked about my options regarding a new PC and spent at least 20 minutes talking over different models and their opinion on brands, operating systems etc. Since they don’t sell PCs, there was no real incentive to spend the time with me.
When I get the new PC I will have them switch the hard drive and transfer all data and I know it will be done correctly.

UPDATE
They performed a data transfer of the old hard drive to the new computer. They partitioned and labeled the new data areas exactly as we agreed. Also, they enclosed the old drive to make it an external drive.
Everything went perfectly and was done in less than a day.

I am a horribly clumsy person when it comes to my heavy, 17″ laptop, so it was inevitable that I’d drop it enough times to wiggle the DC Adapter loose and have to shell out money to get it fixed.
A+ Perfect Computers charged me $ 160 to have it fixed and they had the job done in a few days.
While I felt like this was a little pricey compared to the other places around, I had heard nothing but good reviews from people about A+ and figured it’d be worth a little extra cash to make sure it was done right. I have no regrets about going here, and recommend them if you have something wrong with your computer.
