I was in need of an electrician last week since we lost power to quite a bit of our lights in the house. Made several calls to different electricians and Barry was one that called back the same day. I had already connected with another electrician by that time but long story short the other one over booked them selves and things fell through. I called Barry back first thing this morning and he said he would come by in about an hour. When he showed up he was professional, patient with all of my questions and was able to diagnose the problem in a very thought out process. He even came back an hour later to help with something I had done when he was completed with another service call. He will be coming back to do a small job for me in the short future and I highly recommend him.

Needed to swap out two chandeliers on a vaulted ceiling (very high up). Barry was easy to reach, gave me an estimate within 2 days, scheduled work within several days, arrived on time, did the work as promised, and his price was extremely reasonable. The only thing that would have made it flawless was his crew didn’t sweep up when they were done, but I’m not sure if that’s something that contractors are expected to do when they’re done or not. Highly recommend.

Barry is a great guy! Very honest and works quickly. Highly recommended. Was at the house within an hour of our call. Suggested we replace the blown fuses he found ourselves to save $ and didn’t event charge us for the service call! He made the trip out even though he was ill. Really great company. Will use them again for sure.

Finding good, fast and affordable electrical service turned out to be a daunting task. I called BPS Electric after calling around and waiting for over 24 hours for a return phone call from businesses in Fairfield that rely on message service companies and coming across others that did not have availability until «next week» and am so happy that I did.
Barry quoted me $ 75 for the service call up to an hour (not including parts if needed) and was available the following day. YES!
Turns out, the electrical short in the bathroom was a quick fix taking less than five minutes. Barry REFUSED payment for his time stating that he did not feel right charging because it was such an easy fix.
BPS will now be called for all of our electrical needs especially because personal integrity came before personal gain! Thank you so much Barry!

We have used Barry for both residential and commercial projects. We can honestly say it was a pleasure to have to had Barry in our home and my husbands office. Barry is very professional.
