The service is always good. The garlic wings were real good. This is a good place to go after work to have a few beers and unwind.

I’ve been here twice and enjoyed the food a lot! First visit we had potato skins and I had Mushroom Swiss burger and both were great. Yesterday had fried pickles(yum) and the same burger. Really nice server who was right there ready for refills. I wish more people knew about the great food.

Bartenders were very unaware of their surroundings. No floor service for tables/booths. Bartender did not know if any IPAs were on tap. I seen Rheingeist Truth on a tap handle and ordered it. The beer wa definitely not Truth, very disappointing and misleading. Fish tacos were very bland in flavor. Doubt I’ll ever be back or recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in on a Sunday night based on Unilocal reviews. It was busy at the bar, but the tables were empty. We sat for at least 15 minutes, the servers and bartenders saw us come in, but no one came to our table to give us menus or take drink orders. I’m sure this place is fine if you sit at the bar, but after 15 minutes with no acknowledgement, we left.

The food was very good. Staff great. Music loud for 5 pm. Stopped in after work checked out the Unilocal review of others and decided to go. Having never been here before he Unilocal tips were spot on and told me to order the potato skins Malibu. The taste was really good. The chicken wings had a little zip to them and with he ranch drippings balanced well. Staff was good a little bizy talking to each other that a regular had to call them for me to get a drink. But girls are girls and like to talk so I made no big deal About it. Over all a nice place if you get to it early to eat it’d be great. I’m not 100% in to country music so I won’t rate that aspect. Enjoy the food and full service bar. I know I did.

Nice bar/restaurant food and atmosphere. Every time I’ve been in there it appears the owners are the only ones working, but they do an above average job. Give it a try!

Food was edible. Draft beer selection not good. Bottled beer selection okay. Bar stools are a solid 7.5÷10. They have keno. They have pool tables. Tiki bar coming soon supposedly. Stop by for mediocrity. P. S. Don’t get the jalapeño poppers

I was looking for a $ place to grab a quick bite for lunch. I read the reviews on this place and it was nearby so I thought I would give it a try. One of the reviews raved about the shrimp tacos which is a dish I enjoy. I asked the bartender, who is the only person working the floor, if the shrimp tacos were good. She replied that they were her favorite, so I ordered them. The shrimp tacos and the onion rings were very good. The food was good, the service was average, my only problem was that the Unilocal application show this to be a $ restaurant. My fish tacos, onion rings, and water were almost $ 13.00 without tip. After looking at the menu, I find it hard to believe you could order any dish, with a drink and tip, and get out of there for under $ 10. Should be a $$ location, not a $.

Excellent bar fare for a great price. If you can tune out the country music, Buzzard Bay is a great place. The Shrimp Tacos were very tasty and a nice surprise. Not a whole lot of bar & grills can do them and do them well. Will definitely return!

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday during Lent. The special was fish & chips basket. It was okay, I would advise ordering the grilled Mahi sandwich, it was the best. Nice soft bun, cheese, shredded lettuce and tomato. Plenty of good tarter sauce on the side. It was a nice big slab of mild tasting fish. We started with the jalapeño poppers with a nice chili sauce. They were deep fried nicely, no excess grease. We had the red velvet cheese cake for dessert, yum! Try it. The bartender/server had the entire restaurant to handle and she did it with great skill. Angie has good customer contact skills, she is an asset to this restaurant. We will drive back there from the west side just because she was so nice. Made us feel right at home. And the food was good — bonus!

Basic pub fare, but good. The pretzels are amazing– with queso you get 2 soft pretzels that seem like they’ve been deep fried or something. Very tasty. their fries walk the line between wedges and fries, little thick for my taste, but interesting. They live music is a nice touch when they have it.

Love love LOVE this place! My fiancé and I just moved to Fairfield, and this will definitely be our new favorite haunt! Karaōke Tuesdays with Uncle Don(who I know from Poor Michael’s), plus arcade games, great food, and good prices. The tiki/luau vibe adds to the charm. I’m obsessed!

Jury’s out on this place and will need to reexamine the evidence before rendering a final verdict. Our first visit, late afternoon, was somewhat soured due to the presence of a group of 15 or so obnoxiously loud, late middle-aged chubby yokels with no concept of bar etiquette. They were seated in the middle of the room, between the bar and the tables against the windows. Two long high tops were set together. This resulted in this tremendously annoying, shrieking and bellowing mass of humanity being just steps away from your backs at the bar. Can’t even imagine how annoying and unpleasant the experience would have been for anyone who might have been at the tables, where the buffer zone was even smaller. It is a very awkward placement for a big group table. This illustrates one burning issue at Buzzard Bay… There is a lot of space but it does not seem to be well utilized. It’s a very long building, but disproportionately short in the other direction. The overall crowd was light, yet it just felt very… close. Too close for comfort. Yet other parts of the establishment felt empty, almost cavernous. There was an oddly placed dining table REALLY close to the action hoops AND boxing games. There was one neat little private seating area that was gaily decorated and bench seats had really comfy looking cushions, but it was way too large for two or even four people. However if you sat six or eight in here, the ones on the inside are trapped unless everyone on their side slides out and gets up. Nice cheerful décor, cute & slightly kitschy tropical theme, just enough without going over the top. Picnic table outdoor seating on an L-shaped deck, plenty of ashtrays, and large portion of the deck is covered, with overhead lights. I saw roll down sheeting available to enclose the area, plus ceiling fans, so when the weather is frightful the smokers’ den might still be delightful. I could hear the music loud and clear outside, but it was inaudible inside! The short side of the L overlooks Dixie Highway from pretty high up. I saw Tiki torches along the wall, if they light these at night it must be pretty cool. Huge game area with two pool tables, above mentioned realistic action games, video golf, electric fake dart boards, even one of those ripoff prize cubes with the robot arm you manipulate. Jukebox, Quick Draw(Keno to you) and a handy ATM. Bathroom was very fresh and clean and stocked with the necessaries. Drinks were cheap, glass of wine(actually, a single-serving bottle!) and a pint of Stella, $ 7.50. We looked over the menu, much of it the expected bar offerings, a few surprises including several Caribbean-inspired choices, and an exhortation to ask your server about desserts. We do plan to return for a fuller experience including food, and to see if that banquet table is still in the center of the room. I’m hoping we’ll end up with that extra star.

This restaurant is so good, especially for the price. We got the Cuban sandwich and the chicken salad. Both were very flavorful and the service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend this to others. I really hope their business picks up because they are truly a great restaurant with quality dishes.

Really good burgers and fries! Server was very friendly and was very helpful. Limited menu but it is a pub. Very nice décor and large outdoor seating area. At night this would be a great view.

What a pleasant surprise! We have been to this location with previous owners, but when we read the article in the Fairfield Echo, we decided to give it another chance. Great! The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The owner was welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. The food was excellent and the band was nice to listen to and not so loud that we could still have conversation. We will definitely be back!

Went to BBP twice this weekend. First time just to check it out with a drink and app but had such a great time we went back the next day for lunch. Nice décor, big bar, pool tables and a good size deck for those nice days. Two things stood out for us; the fried bologna sandwich was awesome if you’re into that sort of thing, and our server Lacey who has a great customer service attitude took care our every need with a smile. I can see this being a regular stop for us.
