Carpet King and Flooring

I had a stellar experience at this establishment! From shopping at the store, which has a great selection, solid advice to help me make my project the best it could be, straight through to installation. I love how my lower level turned out! Thank you, I will be back!

they have a large selection, i will give them that (that is what the 2 stars are for). i browsed during what seemed like a very busy time for them, but there was no attention to the people who were waiting to be helped. finally i was helped by someone and he actually referred to the carpet as «cheap» when trying to sell to me. im assuming he meant price wise but i am not in the market for a cheap carpet — not the way to get off on the right foot. he was also very pushy to the point of making me feel uncomfortable walking out and not buying something. flooring is something people shop around for, dont they know that? kept insisting their store had the best prices around, when i never even asked about price. they need to maybe rethink their sales pitch? maybe i am sensitive to pushy sales people, but this seemed excessive to me.
low and behold, westwood in wilton had a much classier selection and while the price may have been a little higher, i much rather spend my money there where i feel comfortable and where the people seem to know what they are talking about then at an amateur place like carpet king. the saying «you get what you pay for» seems to really apply to this situation.
