I’ve Been Coming here for years, about 10 to be exact. Tina is great. She knows exactly what will look good and styles and cuts exactly the way u ask. Her suggestions have always given me a new look and style. My 3 boys and daughter love her as well. The shop is kept clean and all hair stylers there are nice and helpful

I got my hair permed today by Kayla. &I absolutely love it! She really took the time to explain to me what was to be expected from my hair, which i truly appreciate because this is my first perm. She answered all of my questions about caring for my hair and also suggested some products to me. I have a lot of hair so it took about 2.5 hours, which is what i expected. But Kayla made sure i was always comfortable. At the end of my appointment, she gave me a little more reassurance & let me know that if i have any problems, to jus call her & she will fix it. Kayla is so sweet which made the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely will be visiting her again!

Kayla is a wonderful hair stylist! She has been doing both my father’s hair and my own for years! Today she did a perm, and it turned out absolutely perfect! If you’re looking for someone to cut, style, color, or perm your hair, Kayla is the person! She also gives excellent recommendations and tips for doing your own hair styling and what products to use. I will be going to Kayla for many more years to come!

I wish I could give it ZERO stars, but unfortunately, the least I can give is a ONE star. I had my hair highlighted by Ruby and it didn’t come out light enough. You could barely tell that anything was even done to it. I asked if she could lighten it a bit more and she did. She also completely ruined my hair. She went overboard with processing it to the point that my hair badly fried! It was like a rubber band and every time I brushed it, tons of hair would break off. I was so devastated and she just told me that I needed to get used to my new«look». She also blamed it on me saying that I didn’t take good care of my hair. My hair was extremely healthy and had not been touched by anyone in a very long time. She refused to refund my $$ and was extremely rude. I wish she would have told me that she wasn’t good at highlights. I would have NEVER let her near my hair. Never. Beware of this place, and more importantly, beware of RUBY… unless you want to lose your hair! And your $$!!!

I was looking for a new stylist. I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. I sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I watched one stylist sit in a chair, legs stretched out, relaxing. She looked a me several times but never asked if she could help me. Finally, someone asked what I was there for, said the couldn’t find my appointment, didn’t offer to try to fit me in, or to make a new appointment. The response I got was«are you sure you called Chadbourne & Co ?» I left very disgruntled and will continue my search for a good salon.

Ruby is a diamond in the rough at this salon. I’ve been through a few shabby hairstylists in my time who have either given me the wrong haircut or hacked my hair to death and then I met Ruby and my opinion about hairstylists and my inability to have amazing hair, immediately changed. For the past 2 ½ years she has been cutting my hair to my version of perfection. Which is great because she really listens to her clients. I trust her to cut my hair in a way that I would like and I trust her expertise. She’s the only stylist I’ve ever had who continues to go to hairstyling and cutting classes to get updated on the newest trends. I find that as a long as you’re clear about what you want from the beginning, it’s hard to go wrong with her. It helps to bring her a picture of what you would like. For the times that I was unable to, she really walked me through the process as she cut my hair. Constantly asking me if it was the right length and what I wanted. I found it to be a very professional and I could tell she really listened. As far as the rest of the salon goes: It’s okay. You have your share of snobby stylists, but they’re not the worst. They’re the kind of stylists where if you make the step to interact with them, you’ll see that they’re warm and friendly. Also, there’s no receptionist at this salon. Each hair stylist acts as the receptionist and while I’m sure it’s cheaper to not have a receptionist, it’d make the salon more professional and easier to run if there was one there. So if you’re a walk-in, make yourself known right when you get there. If you just wait inside and wait for them to come get you, they might accidentally assume you’re waiting for someone or you have a scheduled appointment. If there was a receptionist there, it might make this a much easier experience for walk-ins.

I love Ruby to death. She’s dyed my hair for me ever since I started dying my hair. She’s quite fabulous. The whole place is pretty bomb actually. Some of the ladies just seem a little snobby.
