The best Mexican food in Ohio, don’t let the looks of this little place fool you. It is well worth it to stop and get lunch on weekends!

The outside of a one star hotel and a kind of dumpy looking exterior hides of the best authenticate Mexican restaurants. Open for a buffet Lunch on Satruday and Sunday from 11 – 4. You will have choices of about 20 items plus a couple of soups. Do not expect tex-mex. Tamales, goat, steak and chicken abound. No beer or wine but BYO is fine.

The food here is super fantastic and authentic. The people who work here are very nice and patient to non Spanish speakers. However, the place is a complete dump and will no doubt be shut down by the health board before long. I say if you’ve never had authentic Mexican food then you need to get here while you can.

This place may not look like much from the outside, but inside the food is as authentic as it gets and has many excellent choices, such as rice, pinto beans, tamales, empanadas, rice pudding, fruit, seafood soup, chicken and whole fish. Perhaps the best part is that this buffet is only $ 10.00, however they are only open on weekends so you’d better get there early.

A treasure trove of authentic Mexican food. This place is an absolute hole in the wall buffet mexicano, open only on weekends, 11 – 4. Have not had better Mexican food in all of Cincinnati.
