Popped in there today to kill some time on a Sunday. Met the owner Tim And Had A Tour With tasting.
Fell seriously in love with the blueberry vodka and will have to swing back for the peach once it’s released next week.
Worth the trip.

Free tours and $ 10 tastings of potato vodka and moonshine (unaged corn whiskey) means you should pay a visit to the Claremont distillery. Chris the head distiller explained the process of coaxing yummy spirits from potato flakes: mixing in the 30 barrel mash tun, sitting 3 days in the fermentation tanks, then going thru the pot and column stills, filtration system and finally the cute little bottling machine.
They brew & distill about once a week now. Soon they’ll be taking delivery of a whiskey still, just please don’t ask me to explain how that differs from a pot or column still lol.
Vodka flavors are plain, blueberry and peach. Plain was extra smooth. White lightning is available in plain (liked it) and cinnamon (apple pie).
