Great service and wonderful all you can eat crabs. Good flavor and fair pricing. If you want a relaxing evening with wonderful seafood, stop here!

They had a special of steak and crab legs. Steak was good but you come here for the crabs. They were your standard snow crabs but had been seasoned in Old Bay seasoning. WOW! I couldn’t stop eating the crab legs. A friend of mine got extra crab legs and shared with me. Next time I’m here, I’m gonna save the stomach space and just order pounds upon pounds of the crab legs.

Absolutely horrendous! Seriously, Kraft Mac & Cheese. Before you head out to this joint. Do yourself a favor, just stay home and make a PB&J. MacDonald’s is only 1 exit away, GOTHERE!!!

We waited 25 minutes at the bar for a table that we made reservations for. It was 86 degrees outside and the air conditioning in the dining room was not working… I really wanted to eat here but I lost my appetite due to the lack of air conditioning. It was cooler outside. So we decided to find another place to dine. Maybe next year we will try again.

Just a few minute drive from the National Fire Academy, Dave and Jane’s is a routine dinner stop for just about all of my visits to Emmitsburg. Great seafood selection, taste, and AYCE items. Wings are good, fish sandwich is a little small, though. There are large tables to accommodate larger parties. Good beer selection.

My boyfriend and I splurged and each got the AYCE crab legs and shrimp($ 38 per person). The deal came with hush puppies and broasted chicken. Lots of food but the crab legs and shrimp were a bit overcooked. The hush puppies were so good we ordered seconds. Service was a little slow but friendly.

Went for crab legs and got a poor excuse. Limp overcooked legs that we were told were like that because they were out of season. Go to liberty seefood in Frederick pay the extra 10 dollars and get everything else they offer with it. Still had to pay 40 dollars for crabs we didn’t eat. Will never go back

Exactly what you might expect in the middle of Pennsylvania. Average food. Casual dining. Friendly staff. Cheap drinks!

Great atmosphere, when you walk in its«Any booth you want, c’mon in!» The atmosphere seems friendly and the food is filling and in large portions. I always order the crab legs and steak/or prime rib. I think it’s veteran-owned and has country music in the juke box. My favorite when we’re here for skiing or visiting the Gettysburg areas.

Good Alaskan crab legs, ask for extra butter and a cup of old bay. I have never bothered tasting anything but the crab legs. So I can’t comment. They are great about large groups. Cold beer, crab legs, good friend and conversation. What could be better?

Imitation Seafood! On a recommendation went for crabs at this establishment. Now being from the Baltimore area for the last 36 years, we know good seafood, it is not here. The crabs are not from Md. and they don, t use Old Bay(Nobaycation here). The crabs are mealy and have no taste, the snow crab legs were of the frozen variety and had no taste also. The cream of crab soup was horrible, no crab taste and screamed for sherry. The fried chicken was dry as a rock. Should have known not to patronize a seafood restaurant inland and will not do so again! The service was OK, the décor was poor and uninviting. I would say the only wayt hey stay in business is that those who go here have never had blue crabs cooked with salt, dry mustard, old bay, vinegar and beer! Stay away Marylanders!

If you’re a firefighter or attending the National Fire Academy, I would recommend this place for your class dinner. They have a NFA special which left us all full, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Coming from California, I’m not used to the east coast, so it was inviting to see such reasonable prices and quality of food. If you have a large group, they will even shuttle you in a couple of vans. The crab legs are nicely steamed and go well with the steak that comes with it. A bucket comes in handy for all the remains, and could get a little messy.

Lets start with ~ This is a CRABHOUSE, so you order CRABS! Great place and during prime times you better have a reservation or you can plan on having a drink and enjoying the beautiful scenery from the large front porch while waiting for CRABS. It’s a great place for either a small group or large. They seat picnic table style or booth and the CRABS come out fast and HOT! I have always had great service, friendly and fast. They will even go so far as to pull your long hair back and put it in a pony so you don’t get your own hair in the way of your messy CRAB feasting! It’s a really good time. I also recommend their CRAB cake sandwich if your just not ready to dive in and get messy with the CRABS. You know how messy CRABS can be! They have really great CRAB T-shirts available and they will happily steam up a bushel of CRABS for your at home party! There isn’t a CRABBY person in the place. Its a place where GREAT memories can be made! I’ll be there again as soon as I can! Its the best CRABhouse in this area that is away from the coast! The only improvement they could make is to extend their dining experiance to the great outdoors. Serve CRABS on an outside patio. PS ~ This is where you eat CRABS!

We stopped in for lunch during a long motorcycle ride. My prime rib sub was petrified. My wife’s «broasted» chicken was raw and they then just took the same pieces and threw them in the deep fryer. My friend ordered imperial chicken and the crab was very fishy and the chicken was raw. Our other friend also had a petrified burger. The best part was the«macaroni and cheese» that they offer as a side was nothing but instant Kraft macaroni and cheese right out of the box. This was such a joke that we just had to laugh. I have eaten at many places during my 45 years, and this was the worst place that I have ever eaten at. Horrible is just too nice of a word. We all regretted passing the McDonalds and going here.
