Door to Door

I agree with all of the positive things the other reviews have said, and had nothing but the same great experience with Door to Door. They have a super team — all the way from Maria, who handles the phones, to Steve, who owns the company (I believe). The service is friendly and professional, the quotes are straightforward with no hidden fees or shell games, and they show up when they say they’re going to. We encountered a couple of minor issues that required them to come back and make some tweaks, but again the service was very friendly and Steve exemplified the kind of customer service that all service providers should demonstrate. We are very happy with the service we received and would definitely recommend Door to Door for any of your garage door needs.

We could not have been more pleased with the service provided by door to door. We hired them for a repair of our garage door as the pulleys and springs were old and worn. They came to our house quickly, performed the repair smoothly and the cost was extremely reasonable. The garage now works even better than ever! We would recommend door to door for anyone looking for garage-​related services. 5 stars!

Door to Door did a fantastic job replacing my garage door openers. I wanted to replace my aging garage door openers because the system made a lot of noise when I opened/​closed the garage. I emailed them for a quote, and within hours got an exact price from Steve, the owner. I was surprised, because a lot of home improvement companies refuse to give an estimate without first coming to meet in person, so they can try selling you instantly.
But Steve quickly gave me the price, and even let me know what exact brand and model he would install, so I could research the equipment myself. I scheduled an appointment so he could see my system before agreeing to anything, and he agreed to come on a Saturday morning, which fit my schedule very well.
He quickly looked things over, and was honest with his assessment. He told me that replacing my equipment would lead to SOME reduction in noise, but that I already have a pretty good system overall, and so I shouldn’t expect any miracles. I appreciated his honesty, considering it could have cost him the sale, whereas another company might try to scare you by telling you how old or unsafe your system is. I also asked if I should replace my track or garage door for added noise reduction. Here, he helpfully said that I’ve already got a good door, again going with honesty over trying to make the sale at any cost.
Based on our interactions up to that point, I felt like he was being honest with me, so after he worked on the price with me a bit, I signed the contact without getting any additional quotes. We scheduled for 5 days later to do the job. He called one day prior to confirm his appointment, and his guy showed up within the agreed window. His worker installed the equipment neatly (hid the wires, disposed of the old equipment) set everything up for us, explained its operation, and left the relevant manuals/​warranty info. Steve even followed up by giving us the info to claim a manufacturer’s rebate that saved us another $ 40.
I’m really happy with the system they installed, especially with how quiet it is compared to our old equipment. Overall, they did great.

Outstanding service! Needed a garage door repair. Feared I needed a whole new door. Steve called me immediately and was at my house in minutes. Surveyed situation and knew exactly what I needed. Got panel and installed. Also lubricated doors without charge. Door-​to-​Door has earned my business. Very pleased.
