Fairfield County’s very own Chef Emilie is really making people pause and take notice. A personal chef, a caterer and a cooking class instructor she specializes in classic French cuisine. Those who have had her cater their parties or taken her cooking classes feel compelled to keep coming back for more. What fun these classes were! Chef Emilie is such a charming and generous individual. She brings special treats to class so that everyone can start munching on food as soon as they get there. While she teaches 4 – 5 of her recipes in class, she generously shares recipes for the prepared goodies she brought from home for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to take any and all of the leftovers. The class turns into a night of jovial camaraderie as well as cooking and eating delicious food with your newly-discovered-foodie-friends!

I have had the opportunity to taste Emilie’s food at different events. Her macarons are the best(you can buy them or even learn how to bake them) and since I tried them the 1st time, I have ditched Laduree ! I swear ! I have also tasted her food at birthday parties and I must say, I love the simply stuff as the quiche lorraine as much as more elaborated dish like the boeuf bourguignon and the bouillabaisse. Did I talk about the tarte tatin ?? No really … Emilie … thanks for bringing real french food to my picky plate. don’t you please ever go back to France
