Never had a bad experience here, always moderately friendly staff willing to help out and humor a few questions.

Went to this game stop and was ignored and talked to rudely wen trying to trade in my PS3 suck butt employees and the one doing the most said she was the store manager

Used to be a good store but now it seems like when you go in you’re going to e pushed into a sale by pushy sloppy sales people.
The manager is always on his cell phone and it never a feels comfortable to be there
You’re much better off going to Amazon and getting their sales on new games
Don’t let sales people cook you into reserving a game because it won’t be available when you want t.

GameStop at the Solano Mall is a pretty clean and well stocked store. They have a wide variety of new and pre-​owned games and game systems ranging from PS3 to Xbox One. Today I was on a mission to buy my brother his PS3 Need For Speed: Most Wanted game. I had no patience to actually go on a scavenger hunt to find the game, so one of the staff members lend me a hand to find it. Luckily, he was patient with me despite how long it took for me to remember what my brother wanted. After he found what I was looking for, he rung the game up, and I was out in a minute. Yee! Apparently, you can trade in games and game systems for some in store credit. If you sign up for a membership, you get discounts on games.

Great store! Clean and well organized with a great selection. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Practically a criminal operation. Where else can you put your money up and pay for an item in full to «reserve» it, only to find out that they sold your copy anyway! Or some snot nosed employee had his entitlement trip for the month and decided last minute that HE wants item that you already planned and paid for well I in advance.
What’s the point of this pre-​order system if they have no problem selling your pre Poordered items anyway.
Also with these pre-​order «bonus» items that serve as an incentive to pre-​order. Cool! Except the fact that employees and their friends get first dibs and NOT the paying customer!
I could go on for days with experiences at this store but I think everyone knows by now how these crooks operate.
Save yourself time, extra trips, and headaches and just go to best buy on release date.

This place always comes through for me. They always have what I’m looking for when other game stores don’t. The staff is perfect, they know they’re stuff, they are helpful but they won’t bother you while you browse around and drool at all the cool expensive stuff.
I do all of my business through this store or their sister store located just across the street from the mall. This store here though, located inside the mall, is my first choice because I always seem to wait in line forever at the other one.

I love gamestop this place is amazing! They have all the used games that you probably want like Halo and Ratchet and Clank! They have the used systems there from X-​box 360 to PS3. The service here is awesome and they helped me find a game I was once looking for checked it out for me and he was done! I have been to the one inside the mall and that one is also pretty good to. So next time you want a game for the road or one on your home console (mine is PS3!) get it here at gamestop!

I hate going to a place where the employee is a mega dork and rants on and on about how he leveled up his Viking King on World of Warcraft and than insults your taste in games… thank goodness it does not happen here!
There are actually 2 locations across from each other, 1 inside of Solano mall and one outside by Barnes and Nobles. I like them both, the staff is knowledgeable and curtious. They’re actually honest off the books if a game actually sucks. I appreciate that.
I go in, shop, by what I want and no one hassles me. That’s what its all about. They inform me about the specials they are having and I try to take advantage of they’re opportunities.

i HAD to add this place and give them 5 stars! i reserved a Wii Fit awhile back, about a month before it was released. when it was available they gave me a call but i was out of town. i had no idea that this game would be so popular and when i returned a week later, it was no longer available. i stopped by and asked to re-​reserve it and the sales rep told me that they will be receiving a couple more in a few days. when it arrived, they called me but i was out of town again! i was coming back the next day, however, so they told me they’d hold it another day. i picked it up the following day and they had it double bagged and told me that it was a really popular game and they had to hide it because people have been asking for it constantly.
basically, i am giving this place 5 stars because they look like all other gamestops that i have been to and deliver the basic needs of a game store, but they also have friendly staff and kept my Wii Fit game on hold for me! no complains for me =)
