Nice furniture … if they’d deliver it. After waiting over a month, delivery day arrived. They were told to call before coming over, but never did. Got an email said they missed us on the delivery. I called the dispatcher, I was told the driver tried to call. This was the first lie, as my phone never rang. I checked Caller ID, and it showed nothing. Dispatcher said they’d come back by 5:15. At 5:16, I called dispatcher, and was told they were on their way. This was lie #2. I called at 6:30, and was told the driver took the furniture back to the warehouse, and went home. I called again and asked for a supervisor. She said she’d look into it and get back to me. I gave her my personal number to call me. I asked for a price adjustment or some other compensation for the lies. Three days later, I get an email to confirm delivery today(6÷30÷15). No phone call from Haverty’s, so that was lie #3. They must have more customers than they need. Totally dysfunctional. I’d give zero stars, if that was an option. Once they have your money on the sale and it hits their bottom line, executing on their promises doesn’t matter to them. Nothing they have is so special that it’s worth delivery problems. Do you want to take the chance that you have to take 2 days off of work for a delivery?
