Came here once and got a great haircut. Showed up late for my next hair cut, called before to let them know I was locked out of my house and would be late. No one picked up so I left a message and figured they were just on the other line. When I got to the salon, they were closed and this was before 5 PM on a Friday. They called the next AM but didn’t leave message. Oh well. Plenty of salons Fairfield.

i have been going to kate & co. since i moved to CT five years ago. the staff is super friendly and the salon is clean and on trend. i love that they are an aveda salon — you can purchase aveda products to take home (make sure to sign up for the pure privilege points!) go see diana… she is the best of the best!

Kate and Co. is a beautiful Aveda salon that is always immaculate, full of friendly people, and also has the best hairdresser I’ve ever been to! In 10+ years of going from dark brunette to light blonde and back again a thousand times, I have never had anyone more consistently make my hair gorgeous than Kim! I travel from Boston to see her whenever I can. Most recently, I didn’t think I would be able to get down to Connecticut and I went to multiple consultations with hairdressers in Boston, asking them about turning my faded, multi-​shade, brassy brown hair to blonde. My request was met with a lot of, «you’re going to fry your hair», «we won’t be able to in one try», «don’t get your hopes up», and so on. Well, I knew they were wrong and so I made the trip down to see Kim who smiled, listened to me, talked about options, and transformed my hair into a gorgeous, natural, even blonde and it’s the best color I’ve ever had. And my hair looks healthy and we didn’t even have to cut it. Kim is smart, fun to talk to, and she knows exactly what she’s doing and is so talented! She’s the only person I have ever let lowlight my blonde hair too! I had always been scared of lowlights.
I can’t say enough great things. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with her!

Cute salon, reasonable prices. It was my first time there and I was anxious about going to someone new. I picked Kate & Company because the reviews were great and I love Aveda products. Diana did a fabulous cut and was very sweet. My husband said he thinks it’s the best cut I’ve ever gotten. Will definitely be back to see Diana for sure!

I actually thought about not giving a review because I am afraid I won’t be able to get my next appointment if too many people find out about this place! I have been highlighting my hair for over 20 years and this without a doubt is the best highlight I have ever gotten! The Aveda product does not smell at all like the bleach I am used to. My stylist Alyssa was adorable, and interesting. Everyone was so nice and no one tried to push any product on me — I did buy some anyway because as I said my hair has never looked this good. Run don’t walk to Kate & Co. Fabulous!

This is a great Salon. They give terrific cuts! They listen to what you want, make suggestions for improving and blow dry without charging extra! The staff is professional, confident and kind. You walk out looking great and I have found that my hair actually looks just as good when I do it myself at home!

After living with my new haircut for a few days I’ve decided that this is the best cut/​style I’ve ever gotten. I couldn’t describe exactly what I wanted but Diana understood. I’ve been to a number of different salons in the area and spent upwards of $ 350 on cut/​color. What I tended to find were stylists who were either hesitant, or those who were overly confident and interested in doing what THEY thought I would like– no one I wanted to go back to. I will absolutely be going back to Kate & Co.
My highlights cost about average ($ 100 for partials) but she did a great job and I’m very satisfied. They use Aveda products, which make it smell like you’re at the spa, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. If you want a confident and talented stylist, go here.
