Magic Nails

So I would give them 1 star, but I chose 2 because the lady doing my nails did a pretty good job. But! 1) she cut me using the rolling thing I don’t know it’s called. 2) she finessed the fuck out of me! She charged me five extra dollars just to shape my nails into a coffin shape. 3) when I asked to make my nail length longer, she also asked for another five dollars. So I said never mind.
I don’t know if it was because I’m a teenager, so she thinks that she can just charge me nonstop. Because before she charged me when I asked about the shape, she talked to her coworker in Vietnamese or Chinese or whatever their language is, and then she decided to charge me after her coworker agreed with her. I’m not stupid. I paid $ 25 and I originally came here because they charge $ 20 for acrylic sets. Might as well just go to a salon in the mall or Queen nails which is my OG salon in Fairfield because they all do a better job than this pl

This would be my second option to get my nails done if my favorite nail lady is unavailable again.
Magic Nails is across the street from Food Maxx and literally next door to S&L Thai restaurant. As soon as I walked into the door, the owner Cindy greets me. She told me it was going to be a bit of a wait because her and her partner John were working on two clients. I didn’t mind waiting because I had some magazines to look at to keep myself occupied. As soon as Cindy and John were finished with their clients, John applied the white tips while Cindy applied the gel and other good stuff. I really like that Cindy and John made an effort to engage in a conversation even if they had broken English. They’re charming sweet people. I also liked how quiet and private it was and that Cindy took her time fixing my nails.
Overall, the outcome of my gel acrylic french white tip nails came out well. I kind of wished Cindy double checked to make sure there were no excess gel on my skin, so I didn’t have to peel it off. On the other hand, I can’t say much about nail art and all the other services since I didn’t try them out. Not bad for the service I got yesterday.
