So glad this place is here; Central Maine has long needed it. Everything feels carefully curated, but it’s not exclusive… very much the opposite. The tastings are fun and down-​to-​earth, not pretentious. I feel like I’m learning so much about good, affordable wine. They seem to rotate the cheeses they offer, but have a wide variety on any given day (soft, hard, aged, etc.) and have both sweet and savory foods to go with the beer and wine they sell. The owners are super-​friendly and enthusiastically field questions from novices. If you go in and describe the kinds of things you like, they will recommend a variety of bottles to choose from… and they want feedback! They want to know about your experiences, what you paired it with, how you liked it, etc. Highly recommend the tastings of course, but it’s nice to go in other times, because you’ll get a lot of personal attention.

What a gem of a store for such a small town! Very nice hand picked selection of beers from Maine and around. They will break open any six/​four pack and sell it individually.
Wine is amazing too. None of the grocery store stuff. Most labels are family owned vineyards. Good choices of local cheese and assorted snacks.
The guys running the place are very helpful and genuinely nice folks. They do regular free tastings with good chance to chat up with experts.
Feel very lucky to have such a great place in Fairfield.
