I have never wrote a bad review on any business but this must be addressed.
Shadi Gex (Office Manager) pulled an Unethical move. «Bait and Switch». Speaking to a attorney about a possible lawsuit for Unethical Behavior or maybe Fraudulent Billing. I was told by my child’s mother that it was a regular appointment and when I show up. Shadi Gex tried to have me sign a bunch of paper work which I didn’t sign because in my mind, why do I need to sign all this paper work for just a check up, come to find out that my child’s appointment is not just a regular appointment, that it was for my child to get braces put on. I never gave consent but apparently, Shadi and my child’s mother spoke behind my back and talked about having me pay for the braces without my knowledge or consent. told me that if I would help to pay half which as a father, this is my obligation didn’t show me a break down of payments. only verbal and stated that if I didn’t sign. my daughter would not get follow up treatments. nothing on the paper was stated about payments by the end of the day. sticks me with the full bill.
I’m so upset that I can’t even finish this review.
I will be contacting the ADA and BBB about this matter.
Their billing is so FAKE.
Can’t wait to post a picture of their so called agreement.

My son was referred to Dr Van Bergen by a jaw surgeon at Kaiser. We drive a distance for the appointments but it is worth it. He has made significant progress over several months. Dr Van Bergen’s office manager Shady is awesome as well. Five stars for all areas of this office practice.

⁵⁄₅ stars. Dr. Van Bergen is just amazing with his work. I got braces with him and his skills are out of this world. Also, his wonderful staff are without a doubt some of the friendliest people I have ever met. If you need orthodontic service, definitely go to this place.

My daughter recently got her braces off. Her teeth are gorgeous! Dr. Van Bergen did an excellent job. I couldn’t be happier with the results. His office manager is always very pleasant as well. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

Took my son for an orthodontist appointment as a transfer from Georgia. We visited the Fairfield office. Dr. himself was very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we understood everything. The office manager Shady is AWESOME! She just made our day and made this visit that could have been difficult a lot easier. Looking forward to finishing out the treatment.

This is to confirm what so many friends know all ready — Dr. van Bergen is really the best in town. Many of us refer family, friends, and colleagues without reservation.
I am a patient myself and he and his staff are superb in every respect.
Short and simple: Make an appointment for a consultation. He is a class act, cutting edge and a leader in his field.
