Pizza Guys

After sharing my first experience with a late delivery I was contacted by the owner who apologized for the situation and immediately rectified it. My second experience with Pizza Guys was outstanding. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious! The quality of the dough and freshness of the toppings is far and above the common chain pizza restaraunts. Pizza Guys is a little bit more expensive than the chains, but to me, it is worth it!

I’m very upset. I ordered a pizza an hour ago. They asked for my phone number. I kindly gave them my number. I waited over an hour. They went to a wrong address and when I called to find out where the hell my pizza is they said they tried to call. I asked what number. They said my OLD number. Why ask for people’s numbers if your not going to update in the computer. This is my third time having problems with ordering a damn PIZZA. how hard is it?!? I try to patronize the same place but I think I’m gonna need to find another pizza place. The whole point in ordering for delivery is to not have any hassles. That was clearly not the case. SMH

Overall, a great experience getting Saturday night delivery from these «guys» :) The pizza was FANTASTIC. If you’re a dough lover, as I am, go for the thick crust. Just do it. I got a small Garlic Lovers pizza with thick crust. The fluffy, warm dough with the creamy white garlic sauce was just dreamy. I ate the whole thing and loved every moment. I would have liked the actual crust to be more substantial. The lowpoint, and a pretty major oversight, was the Nutella bites I ordered. Hard to imagine they could go wrong when Nutella is involved… but they did. The dough was WAY overcooked, dried and hard:(The inside was yummy, warm, melted nutella on soft, cinnamon dough but if the whole thing had been properly cooked it would have been much better. Felt I got jipped, they shouldn’t deliver clearly improperly prepared food. Service was good, I requested extra sauce, parmesan packets, and plates and they gave me a bunch no charge. Deliver was right on time, 50 min. Not bad. I’ll definitely have another go with these Pizza Guys, hold the Nutella Bites. Step up your game with that, dudes.

I was contacted by someone from the establishment and unfortunately have not been in contact with them by my own fault. I have yet to try pizza guys again and will update once I have, I do however appreciate that someone reached out to try and rectify the situation.

Every time I call, I’m put on hold for longer than is really okay (10 minutes tonight, then I hung up, called back, and was of course put back on hold), the customer service is usually on the bottom end of mediocre, delivery time is always upwards of an hour (look, I get it, the pizza has to be cooked, but over an hour every time when we live a short drive away… I am having it delivered for a reason, but the wait is just too long), and the pizza is good and relatively cheap, but not good enough to make up for this crap. The delivery people are usually mediocre to decent in terms of customer relations.

I really like this place, I cant remember how I discovered it but the pizza I good and I love all the choices you get. The appetizer and dessert choices are the best I’ve seen at a pizza place around the area. I will say that the only two drawbacks are the delivery wait time and the lack of good coupons. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone in the FF area.

I love Pizza Guys in Fairfield. The staff is fantastic, always polite, always nice, plus I love the pizza, I love the combination and meat lovers pizza. I say, give them a try at least once, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. The owner is such good people, just love her too.

email telling me how long my pizza would take was right on. They got here just when they said they would.
Now to my food. I have to say that pizza’s are hit and miss around here. Yet these guys where awesome. The pizza size was perfect. Usually when I order its either too small or to large. Yet this one was just perfect. The wings where pretty good. Very flavorful.
I order the hawaiian pizza. Got to say all the ingredients where good. My only thing is that the pine apple tasted like it came from the can. Yes I know most pine apple from pizza places probably comes from a can. Yet they dont normally taste like they did. The pizza would have been perfect if it wasnt for this very very small detail. Yet it was better than all the other places I’ve gotten delivery from. I’ve pretty much tried them all and this one so far might be my new favorite for delivery.

so this is just to update my previous review. we have decided to give this business a second chance and order over the phone. i have placed my order about 45 min before go in to pick up. the pizza was made as ordered and when i arrived was still hot and fresh. the pizza was exactly as ordered with right ingredients and well prepared. i did not wanted to walk in and place my order as they may have remembered me. everyone makes mistake however if it is in the business it needs to be addressed and corrected, which was exactly done. i am a big fan of local business owner and will support them even if they are more expensive than corporate and franchise restaurant. i know they will buy local ingredients and specially make fresh dough instead of frozen and warehoused and ship via the franchise truck. all i can say is well done and will return for more to enjoy the delicious and fresh pizza.

Boring pizza… not sure what else to say… not hot when it arrived and really nothing to write home about. Round Table… you rule!

Someone called me that night at 11pm on a week night while i was sleeping to talk about the pizza, which is completely disrespectful and poor management. I called back the next morning and was told the manger was to busy to take calls she will call me back, i never heard back after that

This review is getting such a high mark based solely on customer service. I’ll have to say their Vacaville counterpart will get no such review. Last Friday I ordered a pizza for my kids because after a long busy nursing on my feet I certainly did not feel like cooking. So I hopped on my iPad and logged into my profile and ordered a pizza and wings with a soda the total 21.55 hit send nothing happens then I get a default the payment won’t go through because the zip code doesn’t match? Huh no biggie I did just recently move although only down he street so I figure I’ll just call in my order I did so and even though the total was completely different for the same order I didn’t complain the delivery gal was a charm. That wasn’t the issue my kids loved their food that wasn’t the problem. The problem was the next day. While on my way to pick up family necessities as always I checked my account and noticed an unusual amount of cash missing. I check my account and what do I see 9 pizza guys charges on for 29.98 and 8 for 21.55 i drive straight to the store which wasn’t open yet however one young lady was there she was so apologetic took my complaint and really got back to me! Her and her manager did everything they could do to help me get my money back. And although I probably will never order online from pizza guys again I will certainly continue to go there. There customer service was superb. Come to find out the online purchases went to the Vacaville store who’s manager stated he couldn’t help me at all and I would have to call their corporate office, the corporate office refused to refund me all 8 charges saying they only had the authority to refund one maybe two charges her exact words by the way long story short it’s Wednesday and I have yet to recieve my money back to my account I’m highly irritated!!! By no fault of the Fairfield store!

I like ordering from here, especially during work week hectic. I usually call the order in a bit in advance, and never had a problem. Punctual, fast and steaming hot pizza.
The service is always friendly and prompt.
I also very much appreciate the way their thin crusts are — thin, flavorful and just enough crunch.

I’m really glad that the owner called me & although I still don’t have my missing card or license, I do appreciate that she did take care of what she could as best as she could ! Thank you for calling & making the situation as right as it can be. I do, very much appreciate it !!

When I wrote my previous review on Pizza Guys, I wasn’t expecting anyone from Pizza Guys to call me about my review, but they did. So the day after I posted my review on Pizza Guys, Heather called me and left me a message to call her or Makayla, the owner back. I’d have to say their customer service is outstanding. They went out of their way to make a customer happy and do what’s right, which many businesses don’t focus on anymore. They most definitely know how to make things right, without having to ask. Not only have they gained this customer back, but I will also recommend Pizza Guys to others. Great job guys!

I had a bad experience here once, but they made up for it by giving me a free order, you can tell they value their customers and the food is good. I have never really had anyone apologize before for their serVice before and make up for it, so it’s good to see people trying to redeem themselves

Got pizza to go, I was happy and so was my daughter. The ladies where really nice…

I was lucky because I was the first one in before massive storm of dinner time pizza-​eaters and especially since they had only 1 guy working. He was amazing at multi-​tasking. He efficiently made pizzas, answered phones and he washed his hands every time. Which goes to show that he does care about his job and keeping it. (I’ve seen too many multi-​taskers at pizza places skip the hand washing step, it’s unsanitary and grosss).
Anyways, I got an extra large chicken bacon ranch pizza and an extra large vegetarian. Pros: Pizza tasted great, it’s a week later we still have left overs. Fairly quick service considering it was a one man multi-​tasking show.
Cons: The tomatoes weren’t fresh (a weird orange-​y color), and the vegetarian was a bit lackluster in the taste department. The slices were also uneven when it was cut. We would have large, large slices and then really weird shaped tiny slices. It made me wonder and everyone I was with, how did he cut it? Pizza artistry I suppose.
I would definitely come back. Although dear god, they need a bigger space at least for parking. I can’t imagine coming here during a peak hour and being swamped. No thanks.

Okay, this review has some mixed feelings involved since I’ve ordered from this place several times and have had great experiences (one delivery guy even complimented my neighborhood, which says something because I hate my neighborhood) on previous visits, but quite literally had my worst pizza experience EVER on my most recent order. I’d been having a rough day (the kind of day that only happens with a sick 4 year) when I placed an order for 2 large pizzas so my family would have cold pizza for lunch or dinner tomorrow as well as hot pizza today. My order came right on time, though my driver didn’t seem to happy about it. He handed me 2 pizzas, I handed him my debit card, he made an impression of it with the side of his pen and our transaction was over. I walked back inside my house and made the most unsettling discovery of my pizza eating life…
Not only was our pizza the wrong pizza (we ordered pepperoni and got pepperoni and sausage) but a SLICE was missing. How freakin’ gross is that? I’m not even kidding. I actually opened the box, closed it and opened it again because I couldn’t believe I received a pizza with a slice missing. As a relatively normal human being I grew up with pizza being my favorite food from ages 5 – 20 (or whenever I discovered real food). Therefore, having survived my formative, yet misguided early years I am someone who has ordered many a pizza in many states of inebriation. Therefore, I am confident in saying that although my other pizza was tasty… there should NEVER be a slice missing — period.
I think it’s clear from my last paragraph that I called this place back explained the grossness (is that a word? No? Well it is now.) of receiving the wrong pizza with a slice missing at a temperature I can hardly call warm. The lady on the other end was apologetic and promised me a correct replacement pizza in 30 minutes at no charge. In about 20 minutes I had a delivery driver at my door with a hot and correct pepperoni pizza and another apology for the inconvenience.
Overall, I’m not sure how to feel. Their prices are completely fair for their pizzas but I can’t say that I’m jumping at the chance to call in another order here.
