Love my new hair thanks to Arie for doing such an awesome job #balayage #lowlights I’ve been going to Arie for years and I never leave unsatisfied. I trust her with my hair she knows what styles are best for me and the trends. Thank you soooo much for an awesome job.

Ana did a GREAT job! I wanted to color my hair and get some highlights done in gray/​ash. She made sure that my hair was healthy and if my hair can take the color i was asking for. She knows what she’s doing and made sure that I understand what she was going to do, she listened to what I wanted done and I loved how it turned out. I will recommend Ana to all my friends and family.

Ana is amazing. She has done my hair three times now and each time is amazing. I’m new to getting my hair dyed and she has done a great job. I’d recommend her to anyone.

I was referred to Ana by my sister. She’s now my sister’s hairstylist and she is AMAZING. I went from black hair to light. She knows how to tell you how to be patient especially when you have dark hair. My first 2 sessions my hair came out a bit orange but I was ok to wait and keep going back to get it done. I finally got my hair to what I wanted. Ana is great and she’s so good!

I had an appointment on a Saturday at 4:30 with Ana. When I walked in at 4:32 she was the only stylist there. She was still working on a client. I looked around to see if there was someone to direct me where I could sit and wait, and wonder if that was Ana. Well after a minute, maybe 30 seconds longer than it needed to be, she finally greeted me. Well, she finally greeted me after I greeted her. I hate to be picky about crap like standing in the doorway for an extra really uncomfortable amount of time on my first time in a shop, but come on! You know I’m your client, and that you have an appointment with me. So the waiting area was around the corner from the entry, so I waited. And I didn’t wait very log, like 5 – 7 minutes. Ok so, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, because I REALLY need a new hair stylist, and a haircut. It’s so hard for me to make time for myself, so I just thought I would give it a shot. The experience was ok. She basically wasn’t very talkative, and seemed like she was annoyed that she had to cut my hair. It just really sucks that I felt so uncomfortable basically the entire time I was there. Also Ana, it really helps to be more personable with your clients. I was asking you questions, and you were giving me 1 word answers. Very cold. I won’t be going back, and still on the hunt for a new stylist. This place was around the corner from my house, and everything. Oh well, I’m going to ask my coworkers for some recommendations. Can’t trust these reviews on Unilocal..

I moved from SF to Fairfield and needed a hair cut badly, found this place and honestly Arie did awesome job took her time and completely transformed my hair from dry long and dark brown to short ash blonde with a hint of red. Super friendly. I loved it I will definitely come back.

I was nervous at first going to a new hairstylist and salon I have not been before, especially when it comes to getting a haircut, but I decided to try this salon out after finding it on Unilocal.I came in and got a haircut by Ana and was very pleased. My hair turned out perfect, she gave me beautiful layers without changing my length at all. She took her time and has an eye for detail.

My sister recommended coming here and I loved it! Ana is a true artist. She did Ombré Indigo and Purple coloring for me and it came out amazing! I get so many compliments on my hair and people always ask me where I got it done, and without hesitation I give praise to Ana @ PJ’s Hairstyling. I can’t wait to go in again to get my hair re-​done.

Ana is amazing! Second time getting my hair cut by her and I’m definitely satisfied. She took the time to see how my hair lays naturally and cut it so I can wear it wavy or flat ironed. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to so she made the experience enjoyable. Ana is amazing!!! I came in with hair almost to my waist and didn’t know exactly what I wanted! Showed her some pictures of haircuts and colors and quickly we found out what would look good on me! She was very sweet during the whole process as I was very nervous and this was my first time going to a salon to get my hair done! Usually when i chop 13 inches off my hair I regret it the next day! I’m on day 3 and I lovey hair still! I am still trying to get use to it being short but I love the color and cut! She’s amazing, she knows what she’s doing, very professional, sweet, and fast! I tell everyone about her!!! Thank you Ana!

Ana is such a great hair stylist. She’s so easy to talk to and she made me feel comfortable trusting her coloring my hair. I have always went to San Francisco and paid ridiculous amount of money for something that never turned out the way I wanted and she made my hair PHENOMENAL! If she ever moves far away I am definitely flying to her.

First review ever on Unilocal and I’m glad to say that my first review is a 5 star for Ana. She does an amazing job and really knows what she’s doing will definitely be coming back!

I have medium length, straight, flat hair and Ana fixed it by trimming and adding some texture. For a dry cut ONLY (no shampoo or product or style) was $ 40. Great cut, but a little too pricey IMO.
I knocked off a star bc my stylist left me in the chair, to answer calls, book a walk-​in, and attended to 2 other clients who were having color done. She was triple booked. I understand if I just walked in and didn’t have an appointment and she had just squeezed me in. But I did have an appointment and booked it days in advance and I still had to wait another 15 min to even get in the chair.

It was a spontaneous decision for me to go to Ana, but I was in dire need of getting my hair revive with it’s current balage. I look up many hairstylists in the Fairfield-​Vacaville area, and Pj Hairstylist was the best choice I made. I came across Ana and she was fantastic. She captured and truly recreated my long hair to the style and color of the picture that I showed her. Ana, I absoloutely LOVE IT. But, i guess you knew that already :)

If you have dark hair and you’re looking to lighten it, go to Ana! I had dark brown hair and she was able to do an ombré with balayage highlights on my hair. She took her time and made sure no damage was done to my hair. Ombres start at $ 95 and she will tell you how much it will be once she starts working on you. I was charged $ 125 and I love how it turned out! She knows exactly what she is doing and I trust her with my hair! Will be back for a touch up :)

I paid this place a visit for the first time and had a great experience. I made an appointment for a trim, and decided to try highlighting on my virgin black hair. I found a picture of a simple black-​brown-​blonde ombré and saved it to my phone prior to the appointment.
Was kindly greeted by PJ and Shannon and immediately seated. I showed Shannon the picture of what I wanted and she looked at it for 5 seconds, then started going to work. She was great; very personable and great to talk to. The highlighting and trim took about two hours (not sure if that’s the usual duration) but I was very happy with the results. It looks exactly like the picture I showed her.
It cost $ 125 and Shannon took only cash or check. Thankfully, I had my checkbook with me. The Unilocal page says that they accept credit cards, so I’m not sure if this is just how Shannon gets paid or what.
Overall, wonderful experience and I will definitely visit again for future highlighting.
