Had a great experience with knowledgeable, and very helpful staff. I was seen at a timely manner, and just an overall great experience.

This is the WORST dentist I have EVER been to in my life.
What people are saying about unnecessary treatments is 100% TRUE. I was told I needed a root canal for a tooth that didn’t really need one. Following his advice I got the darn thing and he put a crown on that doesn’t fit correctly and is a food trap. Then I went back to have a filling done and he drilled out my entire molar and once my whole tooth is wide open he tells me, «Oh this is going to be a root canal» At 5:00pm at night he tells me this and left me sitting in the chair while I «think about it». I had just paid the $ 95.00 out of pocket expense for the filling but now I have to pay $ 900! Really?
It wasn’t until I called my husband in tears that the dentist then comes over and offers to put a temporary seal on the tooth to get me by. I never went back to him after that. Changed my insurance over, and went to my childhood dentist who looked at it and said that this guy was full of crap and that I only needed a filling after all.
His office staff is very professional and pleasant and he isn’t a rude person either BUT he definitely lacks in the department of ethics and my pockets can’t afford a dentist like that.
I would stay away from here. He left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended)

I would never get tired talking of how good of a dentist Dr. Richard Ramos is… He knows what he is doing and he cares so much about his clients. He doesn’t work just for the money… Bay area is so lucky to have a good dentist like Dr. Richard Ramos.

I rate this dental office ZERO its the worst dentist I have been to. They over book appts. and leave you waiting for over 1 hr. My daugher went in for a cleaning and she said they never cleaned her teeth.
Dr. Ramos said my son needed a bad tooth pulled and would need a bone graph that would cost me $ 300 dollars due to my insur. not covering it. He only pulled the tooth the other part was a lie.
Follow your gut — my gut told me not to trust this place and after reading the other reviews it sounds like I am right since I am not the only one with this kind of experience.

Dr. Ramos is the worst dentist I have ever in my life been to. He pushes unnecessary treatments, he is very rough and has a horrible bedside manor. I have dental insurance and when I told him that I could not afford procedures that he wanted me to have even though they were not necessary and my insurance plan would not cover them he kept insisting that I have them done. When I said no he said he would refuse to treat me. He overbooks appointments and I sat in the chair waiting for over three hours. He is very rough and cause me undue stress and pain. This Dr. should have his license revokes. The icing on the cake was when he asked me to choose between living in my house and having my dental work done. He said I should consider moving so I could afford to have him fix my teeth. I would not recommend this Dr. to my worst enemy.

The absolute worst dentist! Gives unnecessary treatments. Its like getting teeth pulled, (no pun intended), to get a referral for necessary treatments. 17 yr old daughter got unnecessary sealants costing $ 400 and asked for referral 3−4X to take wisdom teeth out that had been hurting her and wanted us to keep visiting so he could keep charging. Has 2^nd rate degree from the Philippines. Teeth cleaning is done by some sort of drilling process and is extremely painful.
