I’ve been going here for years. The food is fast and quality. I love the shrimp quesadilla(it’s not on the menu, you have to ask for it). The only thing I would ask for is a little friendlier service, though it’s not like they are mean.

Took the family here to grab a quick bit for the wifes birthday while in town. I was expecting«mexican fast food» because that’s what this place is, right? Yes! I had no one in line behind me and the RUDE hispanic woman taking my order was rushing me and hardly paying attention. Had to repeat 3 items multiple times and I speak slowly and clearly. Food was prepared quickly. Take the food to my table and 2 items are missing. Go back up to reorder and a line has formed now. I let her know that she missed 2 of my orders. Yes, 2 of the 3 which I repeated several times. By the time they were done my kids were already half done eating. So much for a family dinner. Food didn’t have much flavor and was«thrown» together. You can tell there is absolutely not a care in the world on how it tastes or is presented. While I was loading up at the salsa bar the manager was hawking me like I was stealing his salsa to bring home and store in my fridge. Hey, guess what bud? I have 6 people in my family. If you bothered to look at our table you would have noticed. If you’re rubbing pennies together to make more maybe its time to do away with the salsa bar away el cheapo! Garbage experience and waste of my $ 94 bucks. I make better tacos at home after pounding a 18pk holding one hand over my eye. Good thing you have those fairfielders who dont mind throwing their money out the window. You wont see me again. ADIOS!

Quality, fresh Mexican food. Definitely use salsa bar to add the extra something to the food. Will repeat visit.

Fresh and fast but beware of the parking lot and the GIANT holes! The owner needs to fix the lot PRONTO!

I consistently(about once a week) get the chicken chili lime salad. Easy, quick(5 minutes), inexpensive($ 7), healthy option for a weeknight dinner.

I’ve been coming here for many years. It’s basically a La Salsa, but isn’t. The Baha shrimp tacos are my favorite. I often order the extra big bag of chips and salsa. I love the salsa bar and being able to pick out what I want. Parking can be crazy here, so consider parking at the next door McDonalds if it’s packed. Also, it can be a loud place and doesn’t have much ambiance so I usually get my food to go. The food generally comes out quickly and the staff are very nice.

Not only does every arrogant Fairfield resident frequent this place, but the food is actually disgusting. The wait staff is typically rude Hispanic women, who could t care less what you ask. The chicken is undercooked hence why I threw my entire plate of food away. Go to a real Mexican restaurant, not this crap that caters to these out of touch residents.

The king of fast food Mexican. Flame broiled grill. Everything made fresh to order. Homemade fresh salsa. So much better than other chain Mexican.

The service was absolutely horrible. I ordered guacamole and chips and after waiting and waiting and watching everyone who ordered after me get their food I asked if mine was ready and they somehow lost my order. I understand that it happens but the part that really made me upset is that they never apologized at all and acted like it was my fault that I wanted my food. And then to top it off the guacamole wasn’t even good. Big waste of money.

I’m a sucker for Mexican food. Very large menu, of various burritos, taquitos, quesadillas, and salads. A nice bar of freshly made salsa and veggies which was a nice touch. Fast service even during peak lunch time and pretty affordable. The freshness was noticeable for sure! Must go!

I have been coming to señor salsa for over 5 years and they just keep getting better and better. The tacos are so good and fresh, they are not shy when it comes to making your burrito, that thing is HUGE! My favorite dish is the taco and quesadilla convo, you can get it with both chicken and steak. They have a good selection of salsas to put on the side. I love this restaurant. They do need to get a bigger parking lot though!

Seriously good bang for your buck. Grande burrito with grilled chicken was good, and assortment of fresh salsas pushed it over the edge.

I probably go here twice a week. Everything is so fresh and made to order. The portions are great and you cannot beat their prices. You would absolutely spend more money at chipotle or another chain restaurant. Señor salsa is the best in fairfield for quick eats. My boyfriend and I are OBSESSED.

Good Mexican food with a lot of various selections. I’ve had the burritos, nachos, etc. and I’m a fan. They can get busy, some be prepared to wait sometimes. Overall, it’s worth the trip.

Señor Salsa has definitely become a Fairfield staple. It broke off from a national chain and created its own market in the downtown area. The food is usually very good. I’ve only had a few bad meals over the many years I’ve been going. The recent chain pop-ups(Chipotle, Moes, Qdoba) have given them some competition, but Señor Salsa offers fresh fish and shrimp, ingredients that the other places sorely lack. …Also the Taquitos are amazing.

This place recently went under new ownership and man is it obvious. I got a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was burnt and cold. The cheese was barely melted and the tortilla probably spent a total of 10 seconds on the grill. I ate half and threw the rest out. They gave me literally 9 chips with my order with a microscopic piece of guac. I used to love this place back in the day, but it appears these guys just don’t care anymore. Never going back.

Even with Chipotle and Qdoba now in town this is still my go-to place, mainly because it’s the only one that offers fish as a protein choice. I usually get the fish tacos or the burrito. They’re always fresh and very tasty. I’m a huge fan of Mexican food and had it all over the country and in Mexico and I have to say their flavors are very on point. I also like that they’re pretty accommodating. When I’m limiting my carbs you can ask for tacos without the tortilla and they’ll make you a little platter. Omg I’m getting so hungry writing this review!!! The staff is nice but don’t expect super friendly. And since they don’t serve alcohol and the ambiance is mehh I always get my stuff to go. The one negative is the super tiny parking lot, I’ve waited in that lot for good 10 minutes at times staring down people inside to leave. But yeah, the tacos were worth it.

Overrated! My better half is a FAN of Mexican cuisine so she’s the reason we tried this place. Occasionally, I have great meals so I don’t mind tagging alone. Unfortunately, this place missed the mark. There must not be any other Mexican restaurants in Fairfield for the locals to rave over this place. They must stay within the limits of this town and not venture too far. With that in mind, I can see why they would love this place. The parking is very tight. The restaurant is very small and the seating is limited. The service was quick and friendly and everything was clean. It had an authentic look and sound. We ordered the fish and chicken tacos, which were OK at best when it came to flavor. We switched plates half way through and were equally disappointed. The wifey said she was not impressed. About 15 minutes after our meal, our stomachs started to rumble. nOT the good kind of rumble, I mean the GETOUTOFMYWAY rumble. Thankfully, we made it to the restroom in time. Clearly the chicken had been left out too long. Won’t be back.
