The service was good and the waitresses and waiter was nice but the food was skimpy and kind of bland. I won’t be going back. I’m not from this area and just visiting for the week so I am still in search of some real Tex-Mex food.

Hey, if you like eating ½ a lb of cheese on top of cinnamon chili and overcooked spaghetti noodles, this is for you. Seriously nasty stuff, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I guess if you visit Cinci you have to try it, but you won’t want to come back.

great food. love it, come all the time. but its an acquired tastes.(like if you like white castle. you may like this place.) lots of cheese, chilli is good, the price is a bit higher than before, so that sort of sucks, but it is still really good. but mounds of cheese makes this place one of the best places ever. had to change the rating cause its way more expensive then before.

Really really good chili. The spices they use for it are key, I’m not sure exactly what it is but it’s remarkably tasty. Simple, cheap, and if you get cheese, it is piled in a gigantic mound on top of your food.

I know I’ve written a review for Skyline Chili before, but I feel the need to give this place a shout out. This exp. actually takes place over the course of two days. Thursday nite, my friend and I are waiting for his wife to get back before we go eat. We decided to go to Skyline because it had been a while since any of us had been there. We get here at about 8:50pm, unbeknownst to us that this place closes at 9pm. As we walk up to the counter, the cashier told us «just so you know, we only have one hot dog left.» At first I thought they were joking, but sure enough we look over at the hot dog roller and see only one hot dog left. Super bummer. Oh well, at least we can score some sweet tea right? Oops, that’s a negative too, they had thrown it out about 30 seconds before we asked for some. Not to be denied, I bought the last hot dog. I told the guy not to skip out on the cheese. He held up two handfuls of cheese and asked if that was enough. Uh, maybe a bit too much, he took it down a bit and I rocked a great cone dog. For lunch the next day, my friend’s wife and I were talking about how much of a bummer it was that we missed out on the exp., so we decided to go back for lunch. Two words– BOOYAH. The good– our server David must have brought his«A» Game to work that day, because he was on top of everything. I never saw the bottom of my sweet tea, he was quick, polite, and very friendly. Our food came out in no time at all too which was a bonus since I slept through breakfast. The bad– on this visit, not a damn thing. Overall– cheap, quick lunch and a sweet tea to go??? Yeah, this place definitely hit the spot. If only they existed outside of the midwest.
