The Disney Store

We visit here often. But this week we came in right after a star wars reading. We were sad we missed it, but one of the clerks, sorry forget her name but her tag said Maleficent. She was so gracious and taught my kids how to draw BB8. Big kudos!!!

The wife comes here all the time and spends too much money. nice workers here and the kids love it. the mouse knows how to charge a lot and get people with discounts and preorders.

* Being a Disney fan, I loved this store! The selection was incredible! They had Tsum Tsums which originated in Japan and before now I had never seen in ANY of the Disney shops including those in Disneyland and Downtown Disney District.
* Sale items included a very nice 2-​pen set
* I was able to buy wonderful souvenirs for my daughters who were unable to join me on this vacation
* The staff was very helpful, informing me of the Tsum Tsum app (which my daughters downloaded that same night), and what items were on special for the day (cups w/​straws behind the cash registers)

Everytime we been there its been a pleasant experience the people working there are very helpful and patience if anything I would only suggest some one to keep an eye on putting things back in place people make a mess and seems to stay that way for a while lol

Went to the store to return a few items that I purchased at the San Francisco store. Sandy blonde haired lady told me they couldn’t return it.
Told me they can’t due to the items being limited edition dolls. Told me policy is on receipt. I was never told this and shouldn’t be expected to hear about it after buying the product.
Not very customer focused on wanting returning customers.
Drive back to sf store and they helped me out and understood the issue. Returned my items and apologized about not letting me know at the time of purchase.
Sum it up: don’t go shopping at the Fairfield store, they are unintelligent reps that don’t know what customer service is about.

I stopped in to a grab an item for my best friends 3 year old. The store was small compared to others I’ve been in but the staff was nice and the selection was pretty good. The prices at all Disney Stores seem to be pretty high, but whrn outré looking for that specific gift you’re sometimes left with only 1 option. Luckily my daughter is older now and not so into the Disney stuff, but if she weren’t I’d shop there weekly!

One of the smallest Disney stores I’ve been to in a long time, I am slightly disappointed with this location.
They aren’t the newer remodeled type – they still have the same set up from when they originally opened Disney stores from early 90’s (same set up as in Hillsdale mall in San Mateo for those that are familiar).
Their stock is always pretty limited due to size and their clearance «section» (read: one small rack) is paltry.
The biggest ongoing issue I’ve had here is the sales ladies are rude. While I was buying a costume for my daughter last year one of the sales reps bickered with me on the price and was overall rather foul to me. I bought the costume because I needed something for a party and there was no time to go elsewhere, otherwise I would’ve told her to forget it and forget having me as a repeat customer (this is coming from someone who is a super Disney fan and has a season pass to Disneyland. We take Disney pretty seriously in my house and the mouse gets a lot of my money).
Thinking perhaps the service had changed I went back again recently to browse. Again, the service was mediocre at best. The sales girls are all very cheerful with one another, but they aren’t very interested in the customers.
I have been able to find some items here that have been sold out at the larger and more popular stores, so I can’t give them a completely bad review. I know I will probably have to go back because once again they have a costume there in stock that the other bigger stores don’t carry, but I’m hoping it will be a smoother transaction.

Smallest Disney Store I’ve ever shopped at, but the closest one to me (next one is in Concord).
Being a Disney fanatic, this place is not good at all for my wallet. Nope. I am proud of myself when I have trips where I’m able to walk out empty handed. haha I could seriously come in here and be entertained for hours just checking out all of the stuff they have here. Geared towards kids, yes, but I am such a kid at heart when it comes to Disney.
All of the employees that I have ever encountered here are so happy to work here and go out of their way to help you find what you’re looking for!

Let me just get to the point.
I was in search of Mickey Mouse, baby items or bath items and knew this would be my last resort. Well good thing it was because I found nothing in those categories what so ever. I barely found Mickey at all.
Has he become a seasonal character? I thought he was one of the popular guys o_​O
Well overall this store has not let me down except this one last visit. Star ff is always nice and willing to help where they can. And most times they have a great selection of thugs to choose from for all your Disney lovers.

The staff is usually nice and accommodating. Like most places, its better to shop here when it isn’t busy.

I want to give an extra big THANK YOU to ERIKA!!! My son and I visited the store last night to try and find the Woody vinyl from the Toy Story collection and she did it! She sacrificed the skin on her finger and poked through every single box to feel for that cowboy hat. She is my son’s hero!!!
With that being said, this is the closest Disney Store to where I live. They have a wide variety of Disney merchandise from clothes to infants to adults and of course all the plush Disney characters, eating accessories and princess outfits. We will continue to visit this store because the staff is so very friendly and helpful to all their guests!
