The Local Meatball

We went for a fall ride and stumbled upon a farm that had a tent with «The Local Meatball» we decided to give it a shot. The meatballs were very good but what we saw was off putting. We were going to get a grinder but the guy making the grinders was the same person taking the money. He had on his sanitation gloves but never took them off to collect the money. My question is, Why wear the gloves if your taking cash with them on?
We order the meatballs because he used a spoon to serve them. As for the grinder, he would put the meatballs into the grinder roll and pick up a grinder with his hands covered with the gloves that he was taking cash with «YUCK»
Sanitation is key that’s why I gave it two stars.

These are the best Meatballs that I’ve ever had! I’ve tried a variety of what is offered on the menu and they are all delicious. Tender, juicy and just an awesome flavor. I would recommend these to anyone who has never tried them. Mike Distassio and his team were super friendly and extremely reliable! I will certainly be a repeat customer!

Thank you for the always AMAZING meatballs this weekend at pop shop market where i was vending! We got a sample of each and though i love your classic meatballs, the BBQ meatballs and the buffalo chicken with blue cheese BLEW me away!!! Will be looking for you at an event soon so i can get my meatball fix!

Grabbed some of their amazing meatballs while at Two Roads Brewery! Tried all three varieties they offered (sorry don’t remember exact flavors)…beef, chicken, and pork! They were Amaze-​balls! Soooo flavorful and tender! I got them off the bun which i feel gave me a chance to enjoy them without the extra calories, but the guy next to me ordered the roll which looked delicious as well! I highly recommend them! Ps… the guys who helped me were really nice too! Friendly and even threw in an extra meatball for me! I’ll definitely seek them out again!
