Maybe this should be a 5. It is hard to feel warm and fuzzy about animals that are living or have had a less than perfect life.
This is a great place!
Recently I found what I thought was an abandoned kitty. It was on a Saturday and someone answered the phone and helped me post information about this kitty.
They also allowed me to buy a spay/​neuter treatment for $ 25, which was a great deal.
We found the cat’s owners in a few days. It was already «fixed» so I gifted back the gift card to the vet who was so nice to honor it.
This is a no-​kill halfway house and I hope anyone considering a pet will utilize this society.
