We LOVED our visit with warm hospitality, clean rooms, a gorgeous pier and even more gorgeous sunset. Fairhope is a little gem and I hope that I can figure out a way to get back soon. My hubby and I were doing an impromptu road trip to Alabama — and specifically Fairhope after a local Louisiana gentleman suggested the town — and wanted a homey B&B for a treat. We got just that with a welcome note from the owners and a group of visitors watching the NFL games on the pier. We explored the little town, watched an amazing sunset over the bay and then ate dinner locally. The bed was comfy and temperature perfect for a great nights sleep. In the morning I got up and got directions for a little run along the scenic coastal highway 98 and the parks. GORGEOUS. To top it off, homemade breakfast on the pier including yummy biscuits and Bill’s famous grits! Feeling blessed — worth every penny!

When my better half stated that she wanted to go to Fairhope Al. for her B-Day my initial reaction was, «where?». Less than 3 hours from New Orleans its no wonder this town is filled with people from New Orleans and the Louisiana area. Becky and Bill Jones are two of the friendliest people that you could choose to spend a weekend with. Walking onto the ground of this beautiful bay side bed and breakfast will make you forget about everything else other than relaxing. There are so many places to just sit and take in the views. I could go on all day about the landscaping that Bill is so modest about. Just really magnificent plants and greenery. Plants that we had never encountered. There are fountains, goldfish and pelicans are a common sight near the grounds. If you are in Fairhope for the sunset, this is the place for you. There is nothing for you to want or need here. Bill and Becky have made sure to have everything covered and then some. In the kitchen of the main house you will find almost anything to drink that you would desire and for that late night craving, a freezer stocked with every type and flavor of ice cream imaginable. If the weather is nice, expect to eat a hearty breakfast on the dock. They have a great outdoor kitchen with plenty of seating, endless coffee and fantastic views of the bay. Bill and Becky pull out all of the stops when it comes to breakfast. I assure you that you will never leave hungry. The food is delicious and you would have to stay there for more than 2 weeks straight to have the same meal twice. Hopefully you will be there for their famous Alabama grits or breakfast casserole. Centrally located to everything in the area, great views, gracious hosts, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast. I can not recommend Bay Breeze enough. We are looking forward to going back as soon and as often as possible.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bay Breeze guest house. The owners are a lovely couple, the grounds are spectacular and the suites are lovely. We got a complimentary upgrade as it was our 25th anniversary. I hope to spend many more nights there. Becky jones is so knowledgeable about the history of Fairhope.
