Captain Sonny is wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation of the area. He knew we had a reservation to go fishing in a few days and scouted out a bald eagle’s nest ahead of time to show us. He goes above and beyond any other small tour I’ve ever been on. He took us fishing — he more or less did all the work while we sat around drinking beers. He provided the bait, baited our hooks, unhooked our fish, told us exactly what to do and how to do it, and was always kind and patient with all of us. He cast for my grandmother and helped her reel in her fish.
Sonny is the best. If you’re in the area and looking for a way to spend an afternoon, a tour with Captain Sonny is the best.

On two separate trips to Fairhope we have had the pleasure of taking a nature cruise with Captain Sonny and can’t recommend him highly enough. Friendly, accommodating, and highly knowledgeable of the local wildlife and ecology. He’s a pleasure to spend time with and show you around the bay.
