This is my kinda food. Don’t get me wrong, I love deep fried seafood but I need to have variety to keep my tummy happy. I like to share food with those I love and this place has so many different dishes, you need to share if you want the total experience. Dragonfly likes to spice it up so beware if you’re not up to the challenge. Me like spicy so it’s a-ok. I’ve had the pork 3 ways… ummm, YES… pork skin deep fried to a puffy goodness topped with pulled pork and bacon aioli… the duck taco… yes again… duck with fig/cranberry compote… juicy, tasty, get it in my belly… shrimp taco, local shrimp with some well deserved heat… fried calamari, had to get a little fried seafood… the dipping sauce is good, way good. The descriptions are right on, read and choose what speaks to you… my only regret is that the cheesecake lady is out right now… when she comes back, GETTHECHEESECAKE… you can message me a thank you :)

Great little café in Fairhope. Loved the choices of infused tacos. The waitresses were very friendly and efficient and my food came out quickly and well presented. I will return on one of my next visits to Fairhope.

Love the usual Pork Noodle bowl yum and its Fairhope First Friday. I’ve tried several different menu items but always come to the Pork noodle bowl

One of my wife and my favorite places. You can’t beat the $ 2.00 taco’s! Always great! One of the places we can go and have a couple of glasses of wine and 3 tacos each and still get out of the restaurant for less than $ 30. When crowded the noise can be a bit much, but not that much of a distraction to keep us away. We eat at Dragonfly at least 1 – 2 times each week.

The ribeye taco and firecracker shrimp tacos are awesome! My wife have the chicken curry bowl and it was incredible as well. We thought we would try the fried olives… they were different… but good. Glad we tried them. Great atmosphere and the service was great too. We’ll definitely go back!

We just had a couple drinks at Fly Bar so I cannot comment on the food. The bar staff was extremely friendly and hilarious. They were concerned with both drink orders and if we enjoyed the music playing. They were also very courteous answering our random questions on what concoctions they were making for the regulars. The couple drink recommendations we received were spot on, and the pours were«healthy». I think we both are a little too old to see what the rest of the night would lead to, but this seems like a very fun place. I definitely will be coming back when I have out of town guests that want to explore the local«hot spots».

By far the best seared tuna taco EVER! Great turnip fries and Dragon’s Breath hot sauce. This place has a relaxing atmosphere– sit outside under the sailcloth panels and enjoy lunch with friends.

We ate here a few weeks ago with some friends, but got takeout tonight as we had a late start to dinner with a kiddo. The food is always amazing and fresh, whether it’s dine in or carry out. The Kung pao chicken tacos are absolutely heavenly! My daughter loves the kids chicken bites, and they are delicious too. My husbands favorite is the firecracker shrimp taco which was also yummy.

I came here for Taco Tuesday expecting Mexican, but definitely didn’t get what I was expecting. The food was great — very asian influenced. I’d almost be tempted to call it Asian-American Fusion. We started with the calamari which was some of the best I’ve had. Next, we had both of the taco specials — Firecracker Catfish Taco + Pulled Pork Taco, as well as the Kung Pao Chicken Taco from the regular menu. All of them were big tacos and tasted delicious. Lots of ingredients in each that complemented the main ingredient well. Finally, we ordered another special item — 3 flounder corndogs. I wasn’t sure what to make of them at first, but they turned out to be awesome. Each had 3 large chunks of flounder in them, surrounded by corndog batter. Overall great experience. Food was impressive, service was good, margaritas were strong, and I paid half as much as I would have in Boston for the same unique food.

Wow! Went for the first time after hearing a coworker rave about it and it was even better then we had hoped for! Our server Derek was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us — excellent service! The food was incredible. We had the olives appetizer, the firecracker taco and the special of the day taco, and split the firecracker langostino bowl– all were spectacular! Derek actually had the chef put the dish we split in separate bowls which was a surprise and very appreciated! Even on a cold rainy night the place was packed and with good reason! We have recommend Dragonfly to several others now and we will definitely be back ourselves soon! Best restaurant I’ve been to here since moving down from Chicago!

Only really one vegetarian dish(glass noodle bowl) but it is exceptional. The braised cabbage side/appetizer is equally good. Fairhope beers(in bottles) are delicious. Very friendly gal behind the bar dispenses local advice and keeps drinks arriving on time. Excellent.

Great tacos — had the Kung Pao Chicken and Firecracker Shrimp. The shrimp taco was out of this world! Sweet and spicy, just the way I like it. My husband and I split the Kung Pao Chicken fried rice and kitchen was nice enough to split it into two bowls.

This place is so good! Great food and good prices. Their special taco was $ 2! One olive appetizer(yum), one order turnip fries(great and totally different) and two tacos each and we were stuffed. It’s a great place to try something you might not normally order. I got the duck taco because all the flavors in it sounded so interesting, even though I don’t typical love duck. It was fantastic. We had a great server, who was engaging and took good care of us. Had an amazing beer(and I’m more of a whiskey girl). Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin. Seriously, you have to try this high gravity beer!

TIP: Look for the specials! Always have something interesting going on. One of my favorite restaurants in the Fairhope area. We ate there twice in our 10 day stay! Great selection of «tacos». Love the blend of Chinese and Mexican. Always had great meals. That’s not to say we LOVED every dish, but all were tasty and interesting. Service was friendly and solid. Not«fast», but we weren’t in a rush and were enjoying our conversations. The flip side was they weren’t trying to rush us out either! Loved the Fire Cracker Lobster Taco! Highly recommend! Give it a try. Eat outside and do some people watching! You southern ‘Bama people have some great weather!

Super busy spot that the locals clearly love. They serve a variety of fusiony tacos a la carte. I had the special(really delicious spicy curry chicken), pork(satisfying, comfort food tasting any palate would enjoy) and tuna(not really good at all – quality/cook of the fish just wasn’t there. Mr. B also enjoyed the special and shrimp, but didn’t enjoy the oyster so much.(To be fair, best not to order oyster anything in the summer, then again, why have it on the menu in the summer?) Our margaritas were a little too weak/sweet, but hey, they did the trick! Cute spot worth trying, but check with your server on what the best thing to order is because the menu seems a little hit or miss.

Oh man, you just need to go here. Mexican Asian fusion at a good price. The interior of this place is minimal with some really sweet local mixed-media art on the walls. For food, I got the firecracker shrimp taco and the Kung Pao chicken taco. The sauces of both of these items were impeccable and delicious. I was rendered speechless. My friend got the braised pork taco and the Kung Pao chicken bowl, extra spicy. They definitely deliver on the spice and flavor. We were both thoroughly impressed with everything we got. The beer is super cheap too. $ 2 – 3 domestic bottles. You really can’t beat that. Cheaper than a soda! If you’re in Fairhope pay this place a visit. You won’t be disappointed. I certainly wasn’t!

Very very dissatisfied. We went there as a couples night out. The service wad horrible, our waitress very inattentive and unhelpful to the point that she almost caused me a trip to the ER. While the flavor and the presentation of the food was great, Everything in the menu had hot spicy ingredients, jalapenos, chili’s, habeneros etc. I asked our waitress twice if it was hot or mild and she kept telling us it was not hot at all. She lied. If you have a delicate stomach our allergies to ingredients DON’T go here! We asked if the dish could be adjusted, She went to the kitchen and came back and said no. When our food arrived, late by the way(Several people who came after us were served before us) all the dishes had tons of jalapenos in them, We tried to pick them out but there was alot. Two bites in I accidentally got one and that was it for me. I have had gall bladder removed as well as two surgeries. By the time I reached the parking lot I was throwing up. My husband had to pull over several times on the 20 minute drive home and I was that sick all night, to the point I really did think I was going to have to be taken to the hospital. On top of that, like that wasn’t enough, The food was expensive, $ 42 for a noodle bowl, rice bowl and two tacos. The waitress acted like she didn’t want to serve us, We had to stop her and ask her for stuff instead of her checking on us, She could clearly see I was in distress and never asked what was wrong. I was going to talk to The manager but no one checked on us, and when she finally did to bring us our bill, I just wanted our of there to be sick in private. The table was dirty with leftover food from previous occupant. I would like to add, I had eaten at their foley location several times before it closed and they had always been very accommodating, the food was excellent and the service staff was very friendly, they always worked around my dietary needs, I hate that they closed that location, I wasn’t going into the fairhope location uneducated on there food, but apparently the two locations have very different customer relations attitudes.

I didn’t think this place could get any better but… After moving to their new location you can finally stretch your legs and enjoy your meal(that you already knew would be delicious!) The only problem I have with this place is trying to decide what I want to eat…
