Sam’s Club

I’m torn when it comes to this Sam’s Club. On one hand, it’s the one I predominately go to (the other is in the Falls) so I prefer the layout here better, but I think the people at the Sam’s Club in the Falls are just nicer.
Overall very clean store, lots of samples on Saturdays, and never seems to be insanely busy. Customer service can take FOREVER some days though. When I first got my membership, I stood in line for nearly 30 minutes when there were only a handful of people in front of me.
I love their Artisan Fresh and Daily Chef lines. I feel like I’m getting a solid quality item without having to pay for the name brand price. I wish they had a bit more in the organic range, but I’ll grab those items from Krieger’s or Earth Fare if I really feel it’s important.
As a chain overall, I dig Sam’s. However, if there were a Costco closer, I’d probably have a membership there instead. It is much brighter and cleaner than BJ’s though (the only other ‘bulk’ store in the region), and the gas prices in the Falls are usually fairly stable regardless of what all the other gas stations are doing.
