As large government bureaucracies go, the local office of the Social Security Administration on Lincoln Highway(Rt. 1), Fairless Hills, Pa., is doing a pretty good job. The appointment given my client to deal with a question of overpayment was easily secured over the phone, and when we arrived at the given hour, our wait was no more than 15 minutes. That is fairly precise for an agency that deals with all sorts of issues and people in varying degrees of stress and ability to communicate. The representative who met with us was professional and knowledgeable about what we were there to discuss. We quickly reached the heart of the matter, reviewed the facts and alternative resolutions, and decided on the best course going forward. Everyone was satisfied with the quality of the meeting, as well as its efficiency. We left the building in under 45 minutes from when we entered. It is difficult to rate government from a «fan» or «Woohoo» perspective as needed for higher ranking, but in this instance, the«A-Okay,» is from the heart.
