Wow, what a great find! I visited Craft Bits & Pieces looking for scrapbooking supplies, and came away with a great stash of stickers and embellishments, many of which were 25 cents. They have something for everyone — fabric, thread, beads, stamps, buttons, yarn, vases, frames, holiday decorations, you name it. It was very crowded on a Saturday morning, but I was cashed out very quickly as they had more than one cashier working. The store’s proceeds benefit Fairport/Perinton Senior Living Council, and they only accept cash and checks(thanks to PP for the heads up on this since I pay for everything with my debit card).

My new favorite reseller. Located in Fairport Landing tucked between the UPS store and Anything Goes Clothing Consignment Shop. All proceeds go to the Fairport/Perinton Senior Living Council which supports SOFI and Elderbus. I have scored some good stuff here. On my latest trip I snagged 1 skein of Rowan Big Wool(retail $ 17) for $ 4.25 and 1 skein of Debbie Bliss Como *discontinued(retail $ 9) for $ 2.25. These gems are a hit or miss and sometimes the original tag is not included. But if you are a yarn snob like moi, you do not need a tag to identify what you are looking for. Knitting needles of all kinds are available. Double pointed needles and straight ones sell for $ 1, and Circulars are $ 2. Same applies for crochet hooks. Right now they have Holiday decorations up, so I suggest you stop in here before you hit Pier 1 or any other major retailer. Last Saturday I picked up a long tube full of ball ornaments in different shades of purple for 0.95! My friend loves purple and I thought she would like to add these to her purple tree. Other items you can find are beading/jewelry supplies, rug yarn materials and patterns, stamps, fleece, quilt pieces, sewing materials, books, VHS movies, DVDs, CD’s, cassette tapes, baskets and whatever a kind soul donates!

Such a great little place to get your crafting needs. The proceeds go to charity, so stock up on zippers, needles, fabric, yarn, and anything else you might need right here. It’s super cheap and you feel like you’re doing a good thing. They don’t take cards, though, so pack your cash and go pick up some adorable stuff.
