Fountains Family Dentistry

This Dr. Parker said my son and I needed thousands of dollars worth of dental care when we didn’t, after seeing other dentists (that all confirmed what he said was lies) his office would not release our records of our exams to us or another dentist.
My son and I went in for our annual checkup, and this was our first visit here. He said I needed 3 root canals, crowns, fillings, and old filling replaced. He said my son needed root canals, wisdom teeth pulled, several fillings, treatment for his teeth, etc. I was shocked and terrified because of what he said we needed, especially since we take daily care of our teeth and do regular dental visits. After seeing other dentists to get their opinions before committing to such work done on us, we found out from them that between the two of us only 1 small cavity existed! I then asked Fountains for our records many times. I called, came in, and even emailed. I also sign releases with another dentist to try to get them sent to another provider since I was not getting them. The other dentist never got them either.

WATCH OUT for unnecessary «standard» procedures.
Fountains has procedures they perform every time you have a regular visit NO MATTER what — for example bitewings. It is your responsibility to pay for all procedures the deem standard or warranted. If you do not pay you will end up in collections.
Also, Dr. Parker sits in the back room while his assistant does all the work and avoids patients, when he performs work on them he talks to his assistant as if you were not lying down with your mouth open right in front of him. While you are sitting there he will tell the tech to have the scheduler make an appointment for any additional work WITHOUT even asking you about YOUR MOUTH and your opinion. He leaves that up to the tech and scheduler to explain.
Fountain’s facility is nice and cosy, but BEWARE, they are out to nickel and dime you!

I felt the need to write a review about my experience with Dr. Parker and the entire Fountains Family Dentistry team. I was completely comfortable before, during and now after my appointment. I let Christine know that I am without dental insurance and they were able to give me a great deal on an exam, cleaning & x-​rays! I was emailed my paperwork before my appointment and was seen immediately. The atmosphere was so relaxing as was the care. The hygienist made sure to be extra careful and make my experience pain-​free. No reason to be afraid of this dentist, A+ experience!
